How can i turn of the Chat Manager?

Go into your Basix folder, and Edit the config.yml,
you'll find enable-chatmanager in settings>enableChatManager, then change the value to 'false'


I get an error when i try to install the plugin

Sorry, but you need Java 8 to install the plugin, Java 7 is no longer supported. The error should be something like this:
