Posted Aug 7, 2013end stone doesnt seem to be crafting i will try latest update and see if it works if not i will just leave my post as such
can you make it so we can disable certain items with a config file as some of these recipes just to me don't make sense or if you could make it so there is a permission based items meaning you need perms in order to craft them
any who thanks plug is good i like it keep up good work
and it would better if you did it sooner rather then later as i wont be able to use 3.0 if it has mob eggs craftable because i dont want all my users spamming mob eggs

Posted Jul 28, 2013Nice plugin! Could I add a suggestion that you make it so there is a config.yml file where you can change which recipes are enabled? Thanks

@Meatzombie
Yeah, I realized the permissions thing would not work so smoothly. If I were to go ahead with the permissions, it'd conflict with almost any plugin that provides crafting recipes like this one. I will be making a config.yml for this.
Meatzombie, your steak idea has been implemented in 2.6, and the leather recipe was changed, leather is now obtainable by cooking rotten flesh in a furnace.

Posted Jul 27, 2013Add a config.yml for turning on/off certain recipes Abandoned idea, I will enable a permissions system.
Please do not abandon this.
Is there any way leather could be changed to 2 rotten flesh?
Maybe a craft recipe where x rotten flesh = uncooked steak (cleaning the rotten parts out)
Mob egg + stone brick = mob spawning brick
Mob egg + iron bars all around it = Spawner of mob type
Cobble to gravel, or gravel to flint

Posted Jul 25, 2013I have more ideas! First one: Stone with a red mushroom over it, and a tan mushroom under it.
Idea two: Netherrack surrounded in sand for soul sand.
Idea three: A red mushroom surrounded in netherrack, or a tan mushroom surrounded in netherrack to make Nether wart.
Idea four: Redstone or glowstone dust surrounded in zombie flesh, to make a zombie spawner egg, and so on for the same things but with drops from different mobs.
Idea five: Vines or leaves surrounding water for a slime ball. (vines and plants and stuff could get icky and soggy if they get wet lol.)

Hm, I may implement that. I was actually thinking of making it so you can configure the recipes used to craft the items but it's gonna require a lot of rewriting of the code. Don't get your hopes up.

Posted Jul 22, 2013Can you make it so we can change what items we can use to make certain things? For example Can I make it so they have to use smooth stone to make Chainmail armor?

Posted Jul 22, 2013Hello! I have a few ideas. You should add mob heads. Music discs, the color of the music disc in dye, surrounded by iron. The next idea is mob heads. All gunpowder for a Creeper head, all rotten flesh for a Zombie head, and all bones for a Skeleton. My friend had an idea too, she is trying to remember it. So expect another comment soon! ^.^ Thanks!

Yup, no problem. Just give the group basiccraft.pack.user when 3.0 is out and on your server.

Going by what you said can you make an extra parent permission for all the craftables except those three, it would save me a lot of time.

There will be permissions for each crafting recipe, as well as parent nodes so you'll be able to wildcard the permissions.
