Overview
Having trouble with players using modded items like turtles, quarry,etc.? BanItem allows you to ban any item of your choice! Add it to the blacklist which will prevent players to use the item! This plugin is best use for Tekkit or other mod packs server as it can ban items that have bugs, items that can grief houses even though they are protected and also allow owners to unban some items for different ranks!
PermissionEx is Recommended.
All of the BanItem versions works on all modpacks!

Tutorial
Update Check
- just disable the update check by putting 'false' on 'UpdateChecker'. Example:
UpdateChecker: false
Installing plugin:
- Download the plugin, install it on the server by unzipping the zip file and then move banitem.jar file into your plugins folder.
- Restart the server .
Adding ban item to ban list:
In game:
- /banitem add <reason> ( use this command when you're holding the item u wish to ban ). This is the most simplest way to add the item you wish to ban in the list.
On config:
- Navigate to banitem folder in your plugins folder.
- Open config.yml.
- Look at 'default-config.yml' for reference of how to add ban item into the config.
- After adding your list of ban items, just type /banitem reload on the server.(or if the server is off, just start it up)
- You're set!
Example for 3:
- - '5:-1:Wood is just awesome' [ -1 refers to all the numbers].
- - '35:6:No touching this wool'.

Posted Nov 13, 2013Can this plugin also send admins notifications that someone tried to use a banned item and/or perform actions when banned items are found?
For example, I saw someone running around with bedrock and source water blocks in their hands and I provided no way of getting those on the server. Nobody is OP, creative mode is not allowed and the give command is blocked.
I assume they got it from a hack client utility some how but I'd like to know which players are getting such items so I can ban THEM.
If this is not currently a feature, please add it. Would like to be able to specify the command issued so I can pick how admins are notified.
Examples of commands that could be used to notify admins, or publicly embarrass the cheaters or tempban or permaban them:
mail send LHammonds {name} was caught with {banned-item} in their inventory say {name} Was caught cheating with {banned-item} in their inventory jail {name} spawnjailhouse 1d tempban {name} 1d REASON: Temp Banned for using illegal items ban {name} REASON: Banned for using illegal itemsThanks,

Blacklist Placement:

but everyone can place them in "world" but not others like DIM-1 DIM1 quarryworld ect
this since 2.4 :(
Blacklist Placement:

in game it say "this item id is banned from being Placed in [quarryworld] because:
Null
also is possible do something like this: - '451:2:quarryworld,world_nether,world:Item Bannato ' ?

It should work still however if you want to change a ban item into individual world, just add world name between the data and the reason.. Like... - 'id:data:<world name>:<any reason>'

My plugin do not prevent the TNT to not explode, it prevents people from using the item ( for example placing, clicking, pickup,breaking and interacting). And I think you might be an op when u tried placing the item.
