Overview
Having trouble with players using modded items like turtles, quarry,etc.? BanItem allows you to ban any item of your choice! Add it to the blacklist which will prevent players to use the item! This plugin is best use for Tekkit or other mod packs server as it can ban items that have bugs, items that can grief houses even though they are protected and also allow owners to unban some items for different ranks!
PermissionEx is Recommended.
All of the BanItem versions works on all modpacks!

Tutorial
Update Check
- just disable the update check by putting 'false' on 'UpdateChecker'. Example:
UpdateChecker: false
Installing plugin:
- Download the plugin, install it on the server by unzipping the zip file and then move banitem.jar file into your plugins folder.
- Restart the server .
Adding ban item to ban list:
In game:
- /banitem add <reason> ( use this command when you're holding the item u wish to ban ). This is the most simplest way to add the item you wish to ban in the list.
On config:
- Navigate to banitem folder in your plugins folder.
- Open config.yml.
- Look at 'default-config.yml' for reference of how to add ban item into the config.
- After adding your list of ban items, just type /banitem reload on the server.(or if the server is off, just start it up)
- You're set!
Example for 3:
- - '5:-1:Wood is just awesome' [ -1 refers to all the numbers].
- - '35:6:No touching this wool'.

Posted Oct 29, 2013Sorry, i'm french and i downloaded this plugin 10 minuts ago and when i've got a tnt in my hand et i did /banitem add Do not use this item [enter] Later i tryed do explose a tnt and it worked.. sorry for the french tuch.. :) Thanks for your answer.

You can do that by going to the config and add
then type /banitem reload on the console or in game. This will ban enchanted and non-enchanted sword.

E.g. If someone tries to place a banned block down from slot 1, it will change to the next slot.

Posted Oct 24, 2013Okey i've now seen that people can go trought many of the banned items by using different mods, so i thought why not implement some kind of a way for the plugin to not even allow them having the banned item in a invetory or just turn it into dirt if they got it, my problem is GraviGun interact/click does not work with it, and they can craft it all sort of ways bypassing the ban plugin. "It tell them that the item is banned and cannot be used" but they can.
I hope that you can find a fix on this, haven't found a ban plugin working as good as this one so im going to stick here. :D

Posted Oct 23, 2013Can you add item ban by name and/or lore?. So I can allow say Diamond swords but remove Diamond swords that are named Staff Sword, or by special lore, thereby allowing only staff to have swords named Staff Sword or what ever name.

Is there a way that i can ban an item specifics for only one world without needing to add a bypass permission to every world i have for all of my ranks? :P
something like a banitem.ban.id:data
BTW: do you want a simply 2d logo something this way: http://i.imgur.com/2GWnzQT.png
or a 3d logo with and arrow with some text on it saying BAN-BANNED that penetrates a block, and stumps flying out everywhere. Does not look like what i discripet but something else i made in 3d http://i.imgur.com/AJ725Zf.png

yeah this is what i did:
ex
blacklist world:
- '451:2'
but when i did /banitem reload it restored to
blacklist world: []
also when i edit config and then startup server it restored to:
blacklist world: []
maybe i did something wrong, next time i will use this feature, if anything go wrong i will tell you :)

When i say that removing of blocks from worlds are toggle-able, I meant that, if a banned block is detected. It will notify the operator, people who has banitem.* perms and also the console.Giving the exact coords of the banned item. This means removing block from world and give you coords of the banned item if detected.
This will show the coords of the block if detected.

if i didnt undestand bad it scan world and remove banned blocks, but where i put id for this feature? because i using some banned item on server, for machine at spawn or shop, and i dont want them get removed

If u want to do per world, as far i know you have to ban the item global and add a bypass permissions for every other world you got, kinda annoying im waiting for an answer from the developer in hope that there is a easier way. :P

Beacuse you put the item ID in Blacklist "World":
Blacklist world: should hold the name of the worlds you have on your server, that you want to use banitem on.
