Same issues - all previous bans are not recognized. I downgraded to the previous version - then imported the banhammer database from a backup using FTP transfer. All is working again.

Posted Jun 2, 2013after a update the bans was not recognized and banned player can join the server !. Sry, so i have to delete your plugin from the server and to enter the entries of the database manuelly in the new ban file. It´s to risky to use the plugin, and not be shure that after a update the ban protection is still working. So this big problem and that the plugin not repected the rank of permissionex (simple supporter can kick or ban higher rank), i have to decide to use your plugin not more. Rest of plugin was fine aand very good ideas included.

It has not been reset since then, yes. So the same, with the exception of a few more bans added since then. And no, I do not use alias.

Posted Jun 2, 2013@ProjectInfinity Are you running the server in offline mod because there was an issue with online mod servers and banning in some older versions probably its back now.
@grandwazir Can you check your tickets? I found the reason for my problem (Problems with the ban screen).

I've just come to the same conclusion debugging it myself. The children of permissions are not being set correctly and it is necessary to set each permission rather than just give the root permissions at the moment. I changed the underlying library for my plugins substantially to reduce the time it takes to maintain all my plugins. It appears there are a few bugs I missed.
For people to be able to ban permanently you just need to give them banhammer.ban.permanent.
The only time in the plugin that is checks for a parent style permission in order to do something (i.e banhammer.ban) is when you want to ban an ban immune player. You only need to give banhammer.ban if you want this to be the case.

2.2.5 still has the permission issue I'm afraid. None of my staff members are able to use any ban command or history, recent commands. The only one that works is kick.
Edit: Okay, turns out I need to give someone EVERY permission associated with a command for it to work. Giving them banhammer.ban is not going to let them ban anyone permanently for instance.

Edit #3! Seems like 2.2.4 broke all permissions for anyone besides OP. Banning, pardoning, viewing history.. all broken. All I did was update from 2.2.0 to 2.2.4.

Posted May 25, 2013hi, i change to use your plugin. But now i detect a big problem for me. The plugin don´t respect the rank level of the permissionex plugin. So a simple supporter can kick / ban the admin and op. Please fix this for me (and for all other xD)
