I'm sure it could be done a number of ways, but it just seems a little more efficient if it were a feature with BanHammer itself.

Posted Apr 2, 2013Hi grandwazir,
Would you possibly be able to add a feature which allows server owners and administrators to view the total amount of bans made by a certain staff member? I like to monitor how many bans my staff members have made individually, but currently there is no way to do this, besides viewing the SQL db in a program and manually searching for their creator_id. This feature would be a huge help.
Thanks.

Posted Mar 31, 2013Ok... i wanted to test some permissions so i banned myself to see if it worked.
But i could still join the server (no Op).
So i tested the ban on someone else (with his permission) and that didn't work either! (it gave an internal server error).
Even after restarting the server bans don't work :(
exception @ console: http://dev.bukkit.org/paste/7462/ (Caused by: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Duplicates present in Banhammer database!)
I somehow think that it happened because i banned myself while being connected from a local ip.
edit: i don't know what happened but it seems to work again.. perhaps you didn't expect someone to ban himself under a local ip and that's the reason why BanHammer went crazy =P

Posted Mar 30, 2013This works fine on my server, I thank you for this.
This plugin really helps me record what my moderators are banning and what for.

Posted Mar 27, 2013I have recently finished my new project site for BanHammer and I am really pleased with the results. I have moved all documentation into the new website. Links are above, let me know what you think!
@HenzQ
I have not been able to assign myself any the the global groups to test if this works. I have tested 2.1.0 with SuperPerms and it works fine.
The new version has additional debugging for permissions. If you turn debugging on you will be able to see in the console exactly what banhammer permissions you have when usign commands.

Essentials permissions based.
groups.yml - http://pastebin.com/bnZgNuh7 (Ignore the sloppiness)

It would be helpful if you can provide your permissions.yml and the permission plugin you are using so I can debug any issues.

One of my Staff members had encountered this problem, but it may have fixed itself temporarily I guess.

Don't see how I could do it wrong. They have the permissions I listed below.
Might also mention that I use bPermissions 2.10.4.

Afraid not it works for me. Are you sure that all the permissions are configured correctly?

Still seeing this issue in 2.0.7. The group has the following permissions:
/ban PlayerName t:7d (equivalent of long) reason - says can't ban for that long.
/ban PlayerName t:long reason - says can't ban for that long.

Thanks for reporting this bug. It is now fixed in BanHammer 2.0.7 which will be approved shortly.
@xDeeKay
It has been on my TODO list for a while I am just not sure yet how I will implement it.

Posted Mar 9, 2013Suggestions:
- Add a way to edit a ban without having to pardon the player and re-ban them. (ie. /bh edit)
- Add an option to enter a pardon message/reason. (ie. /pardon [name] [reason])
Both would be a huge help.

Posted Mar 6, 2013It seems that my Staff Members aren't able to ban players for a specific amount of time. Example: /ban Notch t:34d reason
I had just updated to 2.0.5 on release, and recently, my Staff aren't able to ban a specific amount of time because they lack 'banhammer.ban.*'
I don't understand this as they already have these on their permissions list. I've a tried re-adding them as well. Any solutions?
Cheers.
