AwesomeMobs

Ever got bored of killing easy mobs? Did you ever want to make a plugin that would would make them stronger but didn't know how to code in Java? Well AwesomeMobs is for you!

About AwesomeMobs

This plugin will add potion effects to mobs, Potions can be Invisibility, strength, speed, defense, and regeneration. there are some mobs that have more than one potion effects, for example, mobs with poison and regeneration, or damage and regeneration.

This currently just add's fixed potion effects by chance (so if number is 1 then do potion effect invisibility, 2 strength, 3 damage + regeneration, etc). MOST mobs are effected, but not all. there can still be some normal mobs out there too :)

How To Install

Follow these simple steps to install AwesomeMobs successfully:

Download AwesomeMobs (BE SURE THAT YOU ARE USING THE LATEST VERSION)
Stop your server
Drag and Drop AwesomeMobs.jar into your plugins folder
Start your server
Enjoy killing harder mobs!

Hi, this is a great plugin. Something I am looking for.

I would like to make a list of suggestions

1. Multiworld support where you can enable or disable which world is effected

2. Able to customize the potion effects on each type of mob (e.g. Zombie has speed boost, Spider has Poison) instead of random

3. Ability for mobs to break blocks, customisable to which block they can break with timer. (e.g. Bricks 30 secs, glass 2 secs)

4. Ability to spawn any mobs when they die, including quantity of mobs

is much better to put more life into the mobs and armor but so is impossible. had to enter opp to kill a zombie and not even an enchanted diamond sword can kill immortal had to throw it to the bottom of minecraft

Since the mobs already spawned in that world, you will have to kill all the mobs in the world(s). You can use this command /butcher -f -l (WARNING! IT REMOVES ALL MOBS!) thanks for letting me know about that bug! i will work on it ASAP

break blocks/ climb&bridge via a quickly dissapearing block/ resurrect from death/ spawn from a player death with the players gear being equipped and used for improved version mob attacks chance to spawn other mobs/do effects

Hmm. I am busy doing other things, so I will call this TEMPORARILY abandoned, please give me new ideas, because I want to re-write this sometime, now that I am better at java.

though im currently very busy, and simply don't have the time.

I like it, but i had to remove it because the lack of a config. Some of the mobs were moving at very high speeds and teleporting like mad. It would be nice to control the settings.
