Usage and Information:
This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.
This plugin features an update command which will check if you are running the latest build and download the update to the plugin folder if it not currently installed. You are required to trigger the command manually and you must restart or reload the server for changes to take effect.
Thanks to my donators!

Hmm, that's sad to hear, it would be a really cool feature. :/ But alright...
Either way.... I love your plugin! :)

Try verifying that your config is correct in a yaml checker.

@Ranetha
Add the line suffix: '' to the appropriate message lists. For some reason this wasn't added automatically in the past few versions. I will release a better configuration upgrade method soon.
@Quest4ME
AutoMessage is a scheduled broadcaster not a join broadcaster. Other plugins already have this functionality. You can set a message list as enabled: false and use the commands: /am broadcast if you would prefer.
@Revamp1984
I added permission support to allow for a much wider array of broadcast options. eg. worlds, groups, players, etc. Therefore it is essentially required that you have a permissions manager.

I get that too. Can't pin it down to any config setting in Automessage or my chat client (townychat). Very strange and somewhat annoying. Will live with it for now. If any testing is required or more detailed info, happy to provide it. Currently updating my bukkit to 1.6.2-R0.1 beta didn't solve it.

Posted Aug 8, 2013Well, believe it or not, but I'm stumped on this one. I can't seem to fantom how to post a couple of messages for a certain group once, and only once. I eventually wish to auto-repeat some messages. But for now, I wish to use AutoMessage to, for example say a greeting every time a player logon and that's the end of it. I thought that "expiry: x" was the answer, but I can't seem to find the proper integer to cancel the "interval". I'm using AutoMessage v2.3.2 for CB 1.5.2 - R1.0. I'd appreciate help from anyone who could solve my problem quickly and painlessly. Thanks in advance!

Posted Aug 7, 2013I'd like for this to work without using any Permissions. Can it be set up to just broadcast the msg, rather then only broadcasting it to certain groups / ranks? I want everyone on the server to see the same msg, regardless of Rank. When im OP I see EVERY msg, but when im not OP I don't see any. On our server nobody has OP or any Rank, so i'd like to inform everyone using this... Suggestions?

Posted Aug 7, 2013After I updated this plugin to 1.6.2, I started getting a weird ''[Suffix]'' after all my automatic messages :S
I checked the config, couldn't find anything suffix related, only prefixes, but still, a weird suffix appears.

I will not be adding support for random player. However, the other other two features are already included just not in the documentation. I will update the Extra page with the time documentation.

Hmm strange. Could you make a paste of your permissions?
@Bobdanielt6
To add a command you simply start a line with /
@Mrlost48

Posted Aug 4, 2013Having problems with permissions working properly for anyone that isn't OP. My staff can't view the message list, broadcast a specific message, etc. It worked fine until we upgraded to 1.6.2 (from 1.5) but now it's broken.
Regular players still can see the messages fine, as an OP I can do all the commands normally, but for some reason just those 2 permission nodes stopped working.
- automessage.commands.broadcast
- automessage.commands.list
AutoMessage v2.3.5
Spigot version 1049 (1.6.2 R0.1)
