What is AutoMessage?

AutoMessage is an easy to use chat scheduler plugin. It is a plugin perfect for server admins who would like to announce broadcasts at configurable intervals. The plugin features a rich in-game config editor as well as the ability to edit the config from the disk. The plugin is designed to be very lightweight and cause no impact on server resources! Installation:

Just drag and drop into your plugins folder then restart or reload your server! Simple!

Usage and Information:

This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:

A unique identifier
The server's version of Java
Whether the server is in offline or online mode
The plugin's version
The server's version
The OS version/name and architecture
The core count for the CPU
The number of players online
The Metrics version Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

This plugin features an update command which will check if you are running the latest build and download the update to the plugin folder if it not currently installed. You are required to trigger the command manually and you must restart or reload the server for changes to take effect.

Whats the permissions node so everyone can see the broadcast.... I cant seem to find it?

I may consider this however I feel that conflicting permissions and configuration may be a little confusing to some people especially when trying to debug a specific message list.

Can you add support for multiworld broadcast lists? I know I can use multiworld permissions but it does not suit my setup so adding an option for broadcast to a certain world only would be great :)

I used /am list and it said "No lists available!".
This is the config:

Type /am list and see if the default list is displayed.

Not really sure what to tell you. I personally don't use Spigot on my test servers but it should work perfectly.

The index is the position of a message in a list. It starts at 0 and increments for every message. To see the indices type /am list <Name of List> and it will show the index then the message as shown below.

Why is it that when I attempt doing /enabled default it says that it cannot find the list? I have checked all features of the config and even renamed it multiple times.

Same thing, try adding expiry: -1 to the lists. I will work on a bugfix for the missing expiry when I have time.

I checked out Notifications and I feel that this would not be integral to the function of the plugin. The functionality of Notifications very limited and I will not be adding it.

I have the same Problem like Lazor_16.

After every restart from the server, AutoMessage stop working and i have to copy the messages again in the config. Then it will work till next restart from the server.

Testet with v2.1.1 and 2.0.5.

Here ist my config:

I'm unable to get this to work. Nobody I give the permission to can see the messages. The default message list works fine with automessage.receive.default: true and the YAML syntax is correct.

#interval is short and messages are random for testing only
  mod:

My permissions for that group is (only a part of it)

Use: automessage.receive.{MESSAGE-LIST} where {MESSAGE-LIST} is the name of the list.
