AutismChat

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

AutismChat radically alters the way chat works in order to give players significant control over their social and chat environment. Official homepage here. Intended to make servers easier for autistic players (such as myself) or anyone else who is overwhelmed by busy servers, or finds it hard to interact socially.

Features

  • Simple and innovative party chat system. No need to create and name a group. No need to invite other players. It only takes 1 command by 1 player to get two players into a party together.

  • Chat to your party without having to type a command before each message.

  • Hide global chat while continuing to talk to players you are partied with. It will be like there are no players on the server other than the ones you're in a party with.

  • Indicate your prefered level of interaction by changing the colour of your name. Be green to tell everyone you want to socialise. Be red to tell everyone you just want to play on your own at the moment (and prevent anyone from talking to you). Be yellow to only allow specific people to talk to you.
