AttributeHider
This project is updated for the latest version of CraftBukkit. I won't update the plugin for any unofficial forks or anything else.
AttributeHider
What this plugin does
This plugin hides the recently introduced attributes from players. This is useful for roleplay servers, that have their own lore design and don't want this new feature or if the additional 2 lines in the lore just annoy you and you want to get rid of them. Once loaded it will always hide the attributes for your players without removing their effect. As of now there is no whitelist feature for the attributes to appear.
How to use this plugin
This plugin hides the attributes section in the lore from players without removing the effetcs. So in order to get this plugin to work just drop it in your plugins folder and make sure you also have ProtocolLib in your plugin folder. Once loaded it will always hide the attributes for your players without removing their effect. As of now there is no whitelist feature for the attributes to appear.
Dependency
This plugin depends on ProtocolLib. You will need to get ProtocolLib to use this plugin.
Anything else?
This plugin is always active (hiding attributes) and does not have any command nor permissions nor config.
TODO
- Whitelist feature
DONE:
- Add support for internal plugin messages
Found a bug or just have a suggestion? Let me know and I'll try to improve this plugin.
Source
The source can be found in the jar in the folder 'src'.

Posted Feb 5, 2014Are you planning on removing the dependency for protocollib? Or even just releasing a version that doesn't require it? I could use it alot ;/

Posted Jan 28, 2014I have found a bug where when having the plugin "Shopkeepers" and this plugin, they both conflict causing villagers made from "Shopkeepers" to not accept trades. Any way to fix this? Must be an item meta data bug.

Posted Dec 5, 2013Hi ! This is a awesome plugin !!!! I notice that the mod Mine&Blade will cause this plugin won't work. http://minecraft.curseforge.com/mc-mods/mb-battlegear-2/ If mmcat77 can make a compatible solution on it , I'll be very appreciated. :D

Posted Nov 17, 2013I found what seems to be a bug or issue, it's not allowing me to edit books. With the plugin disabled editing books is fine, with it enabled it wont let me write anything within a book.

I don't think that is caused by my plugin, if you are sure it is please create a ticket explaining what caused the message including the full stacktrace.

What are you trying to do? There is no need for you to compile the code on your own, you can just use the jars I provide, they are tested and work. Also you shouldn't make a Bukkit Forums thread, but create a ticket here on BukkitDev if you encounter an error with one of the jars that are provided on this page.

If you prefer to use ItemRenamer use the NO_ATTRIBUTES flag and don't use my plugin, I am not supporting that plugin, so if you have problems ask for support there rather than here.

That's why i came here, for some reason i can't seem to figure this out, and it doesn't work for me on ItemRenamer.
Is there a way of overriding?

Item Renamer has this feature implemented too, thats why there is a conflict, you can rely on Item Renamer with the NO_ATTRIBUTES flag if you prefer that over this plugin.

Hey I just wanted to tell you: Thanks! for making this awesome plugin. It has helped me make custom lore items with my custom crafting recipes on my server. Now my next videos won't have the default attributes on them and I can get people to focus more on the lore I place on them.
Cheers.
