ArenaPaintball

Table of Contents

Paintball

A Paintball plugin where players can queue and will join a free paintball arena to fight it out with highly damaging snowballs. You can make more than one paintball arena and players will cycle through them. If all arenas are in use, the players are kept in the queue and will join when one opens up.

Installing

Put the ArenaPaintball.jar in your plugins folder, along with BattleArena.jar

Making a paintball arena

/pb create <paintball arena name>
/pb alter <paintball arena name> 2 <- setup a second spawn, you can keep adding them if you want more than 2, like /pb alter <paintball arena name> 3

Joining

/pb join

Permission Node

Players will need the permission node arena.join.paintball

Requirements

BattleArena, Paintball is built around the BattleArena API.
Optional BattleTracker : If you want /pb top, or player ratings

strange.. why wouldnt it just not use the alias and let you use the normal command...

I'll try to figure out a workaround.. thanks for bringing this to me. I'll download my pets now to figure out something.

Yeah, /PB is there aliant for pet backpack, and ever since I used that plugin, the paintball command doesn't work at all, when ever I type it in /paintball, the plugin responds with /PAINTBALL in the chat, making this plugin unusable if you use MyPets

So my /pb command is actually just an alias. "paintball" is the real the command. So it really shouldn't conflict. It is though? I didnt think aliases could conflict with commands... unless maybe yours is an alias too?

Are you sure that Pex is working correctly? Do they have the essentials kits command?

I know that pex broke with the new update (unless they fixed it).

That looks correct to me, did you reload pex using /pex reload? Also sometimes a player needs to log off and on for the perms to resync.

If you did those try out "arena.pb.join" as it should check for both of those.

So you basically create one using a command, then tell where you want to tp them in the config

pb alter <arena name> wr 1 <- create the waitroom

As long as you have trackPvE off, and disable PvE messages, it should use essentially no cpu, with those 2 turned on it should use hardly any cpu.

Ugh, sorry about that. Can you try this version of BattleArena.. BattleArena. It's a dev build so it hasn't been vetted by bukkit but it hopefully fixes your problem.

I get this error when playing paintball http://pastebin.com/3hVTFMrQ . At first paintball wasn't working at all and people weren't taking damage. Now its working but still getting the error.

Getting a error when using epaintball:

I should work just fine with any version. Everything is normal Bukkit API. Just make sure you download BattleArena as well.
