ArenaBomberman
Bomberman
Bomberman is a plugin for Bukkit using the BattleArena API. Players can throw T.N.T. blocks to kill the other players. The team with more kills at the end of the time limit wins. Rewards can be given to the winning and losing teams. Players can form teams, and even join tournaments. If the arena is in use, the players are kept in the queue and will join when one opens up. Server admin have the option of using BattleTracker to track win:loss records.
Installation
- Put BattleArena.jar into your plugins folder.
- Put BombermanArena vX.X.jar into your plugins folder.
Field Setup
- /bm create <arena name> [teamsize] [# of teams] Create arena and set team 1 spawn
- /bm alter <arena name> 2 Set team 2 spawn
Field Creation
- You need to set the field to play bomberman with a Redstone Torch (on) (id:72) under a layer made with Iron Blocks (id:42)

Well, this is my first attempt with JAVA. I'm PHP programmer, and some buddies started a minecraft server sometime ago. They got battleArena plugin and i tryed to do something different to this big plugin. There was a game in that server, my buddies made it without integration with any arena plugin, only with codeblocks and some redstone. I decided to start with this development but unfortunatelly the server closed and I discontinued improving my bomberman extension because I don't have any server to test.
The developer of battleArena offers the paintball plugin as a startpoint example for developing our own plugins, and I made it. I don't think I'm against bukkit terms of use.

(sarcasum) so your false advertising this is just who can blow each over up firs not bomberman and the intergration the battlearena is crap, joining and giving you items, i congratulate you! you dont even turn block explsion off!

Well, this is an extension for battlearena. You need to set an arena. Read carefully the instructions. You can download our schematics for the field.
If you don´t like it, feel free to uninstall it. If you need help on setting this, i can help you too!

Posted Jan 29, 2014This plugin is NOT bomberman! bomberman if you remember from Nintendo is where you blow up blocs with TNT and try to kill others, this plugin dosent implemet anything, it only adds joining and gives you TNT thats IT. i tried it it blew up my arena and dosent work, DO NOT RECOMMEND GO ELSE WHERE, DO NOT DOWNLOAD

It might be on my end. Connecting from Norway so that may cause ping issues. I get a frozen screen for about 5 seconds before I get on the server for like 5 secs and then get booted off. Managed to copy/paste a quick password :r
Still, everything is in spanish so I didn't really get to play, haahah.

First of all, thanks for the feedback. I'll study some videos to actually see how are working the other bomberman games. This is my first plugin, and it is pretty simillar to paintballArena. A friend made the field, but it doesn´t work with commands. Then I adapted the paintballArena plugin to fit their needs to the bomberman minigame. That's all. We had it installed in our server. Posted Sep 30, 2013I haven't yet tested this out myself, but going off your description, this minigame is based off throwing TNT in order to kill opponents. Is there a way you could maybe look into instead making it to TNT is placed, put on a short timer and then explodes a line of fire? Bomberman plugins in general do this so it's more accurate according to the actual game. Some even have randomly generated dirt pieces that drop powerups! If you'd look into things like that, that would be so sick. Gamemode looks fun already, just adding it here to see if you can make it even better :D
