AreaProtect

AreaProtect is a very simple and lightweight plugin that allows players to create their own protections with worldguard. No need for an Admin/Mod to create protections manually, players can now safely create and manage their own protections. You can limit players maximum areas or the size of the areas they can create (and much more) using customizable groups. Players can also customize the flags of their areas like greetings and farewells.

I did finally figure out that you had to punch the block. The tutorial does not show this, if it did I wouldn't have had so much trouble figuring it out myself. Anybody want to do an updated tutorial? If not, maybe I can do it... never tried before but why not? :-D
Thanks for the info though, but I did end up figuring it out after exhausting all possibly possibilities. Really should be right up front in the commands that you HAVE TO BREAK THE BLOCKS WITH HAND!!!

Posted Feb 20, 2014So... how does one select the areas to protect? I've tried all kinds of tools, wooden shovel, gold shovel, just my hand, etc. I would think this would be implicitly stated somwhere HOW to select the areas to protect. I'm totally at a loss.

Posted Jan 29, 2014Bleed, another problem, so after all data was purged, it still says that some of my players have used all their regions, while they only have one region. How to fix that?
Never mind, found a fix for it, just go into your WorldGuard regions file, and find all regions by the players name.

Are you sure your not trying to make an area inside another WorldGuard region?

Well inheritance is used everywhere, what is the problem with having mulitple groups, that i can assign for each Permissions Group? Without inheritance, it makes the permissions file just longer and dumber, having to assign the same perms for every group. Could you please fix the bug where only two groups work, instead of getting all to work? Cause Members have Member status, but higher ranks such as Donator/VIP cannot have a higher Area Limit, your plugin is awesome, but this little thing is really annoying, i hope you can fix it some time.
