AntiMulti
This is AntiMulti. It is a plugin designed to prevent the use of alternate accounts from the same IP address. To put it simply, a player cannot use multiple accounts on the same IP address and likewise, will not be able to use a ton of IPs.

AntiMulti is a plugin which has undergone multiple changes from its original intent to be a simple plugin to prevent alternate accounts from being used on a server by blocking too many accounts from sharing an IP to a plugin which can also prevent session stealing using this same concept and also supporting admin protection. This is done simply by using an IP system to prevent the unauthorized use of an account by using IPs to prevent session stealing from working in the first place. All of this is completely toggle-able in the configuration file in case one does not use want to use certain features or not.
There are a few things you must understand when using this plugin. This is not a one-hit wonder in that it can stop all alternate accounts, as proxies would be able to get around this system, however common proxies would eventually be blocked after they are used enough. This does its best though to stop a member from simply using 2 accounts to gain an advantage over another player.
There are 2 groups this plugin will understand: Players and Admins. Players are normal players and are not forced to use the protection system as strictly as admins. Players are more loosely held initially by allowing more connections per name and IP, however this can be changed. Admins are more protected to prevent the taking of the account to cause problems by forcing registration and using a smaller range of names and IPs that can those accounts can share. This is all permission based in that there is a perm that designates whether the player is an admin or a player, which is just antimulti.admin, which if given, marks the player as an admin and handles them accordingly.
We do have Metrics with this plugin, so stats will be sent to our mcstats page if you are opt-ed in, where that config is located in the PluginMetrics folder.
If you have any issues, please create a ticket here with the log file and as much information as you can provide so the issue can be investigated and handled. If you have a question, feel free to ask here but please read everything first before you ask since your question may have already been answered elsewhere.

Posted Feb 2, 2012I am needing people who are willing to test the plugin for me, since I don't have servers I can call on to test it easily.

Posted Jan 31, 2012Okay, I have 1.8 Pre working fine, I will publish it for now, it has the login system in place, and the new config. Old configs will be updated to this new one. It is a pre, so expect a few bugs. I have not fully tested everything, but it appears to work fine. The plugin will default the login system to false, so you have to enable it.
Enjoy XD

Posted Jan 23, 2012Well, bukkit did tell me the 1.0.1 would work with 1.1, so right now, and under testing with 1.1, it is not an issue. I am mostly waiting on documentation on the new api to change mine to it, but what I am using right now works with 1.1

Posted Jan 23, 2012The bukkit api (what is used to make plugins) has updated and is now completely different from what was used before. The new system is not documented completely so I am not going to try to use it. I will still use the 1.0.1 so I am not certain if the plugin will work on 1.1 once there is a RB out.

Posted Jan 21, 2012PROGRESS REPORT:
Okay, I have begun local testing of a few of the features I have added, I am adding more to the config, and old configs will be readable, but the new stuff I added to the config will not be added in, so you will have to either add it by hand or delete the configs.
Working on the login system, the file setup seems to be working well right now, have yet to get it fully in yet.
On the new config, the whitelist is toggleable on startup, the IPCheck can be enabled or disabled, and the requirement to login is also toggleable, so you can choose what you want from this.

Posted Jan 21, 2012One can say mine was first, and is going to have all of that. Mine is just better since it prevents them on the spot. Theirs is just informative, and all they had was going to be added with mine.
Also, still getting 1.8 fixed. I had a griefer wave on a server and tried using a dev of it, completely broke.

Posted Jan 20, 2012While doing side-plugin work, I just realized a very easy way to fix all of my config and file issues, and to greatly improve the speed of the plugin. The login system is going along well, not yet completely done, but is very close. I have to rewrite about half of the plugin to get the new system in, but I have a reference for it, should have it out in a few days, if I pull a few all-nighter on it.

Posted Jan 15, 2012Okay, working on 1.8 PRE, which has my new file system, login system working on, and fixed a few bugs, while also removed the API with Pex causing the errors I have seen.
Well, realized I will have to scrap 1/2 of my code to fix it to what I intend for it to do. The joy of it all...
