AntiDrops

What is it?

AntiDrops stops players dropping items. Currently this plugin has options to stop all players, only those in creative mode or ones without the permission "antidrops.bypass". This plugin can prevent users on a creative mode server from spamming item drops and causing large amounts of lag that can result. There is a permission node to allow a certain player to drop items, introduced in 0.4.

Requirements

AntiDrops is currently on version 2.2 and works with MC 1.7.2 and lower, as this was the latest that it has been tested against.

Update Checker

This plugin utilizes an external version checking system which is not endorsed by BukkitDev, which means that the plugin makes a connection to dev.bukkit.org and the following may occur:

The plugins version checked against approved files

The update checker fetches the latest version (from this project's RSS feed [ http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/antidrops/files.rss ] ) including description and version number. You can disable the check and/or automated download via the configuration of this plugin if you decide that you do not want this information to be fetched.

No data is obtained from your server or the machine that it is hosted on

2.2 - Built against CB 1.7.2-R0.2 - 1.7 update. Fixes most current bugs and issues.

I'm solo looking forward the next plugin! But I'm still gonna ask. Is it possible to make the blocks put by creative players become a sora null block? It works like its supposed to. But when destroyed, it doesn't leave a drop! And yea, stop the player from puttin stuff in chests. Thanks!

Nice plugin, but have a question.

I'm running a single-world mixed-gamemode server where creative players aren't allowed to share items with survival players. I can stop this by plugins like these, but i also have a group of players who can change between gamemodes.

How can i stop them from going into survival, give items to surival players and change back to creative again?

Anyway of making it so say the people who dont have the bypass when they die they dont drop there inventories

That's great! Hmm, instead of the people placing the diamond blocks, can you make it so that the blocks they place are false? So then if someone destroys the blocks, no drops come out? That'd be epic. But i think itll be hard

For the first issue, we could make the plugin stop players using chests but it is not the aim of the plugin. And it would be just as easy to place some diamond blocks and have a friend break it. On the selling, all economy plugins have permissions so you should disable selling for players in creative mode from there!

The plugin has a config.yml file that give you the options to change so that

The plugin stops ALL drops
The plugin ONLY stops creative drops
The plugin stops ALL drops for player WITHOUT the permission "antidrops.bypass"

Does it mean it only stops players that are on creative from dropping items? If it stopeed survival too, it would be kinda sucky. So yea, make a toggle for that thanks agaain!

Um... What about adding something to stop the person from putting things in chets.. And selling things? That will make a big difference. Otherwise someone could just place diamond blocks in a chest for other people to steal. HELP! THanks.

It didn't generate a config file. I have this in server.log

New features:

Config Options:
- use-bypass-perm (default: false) - If true, players with the permission antidrops.bypass can drop items while others can't.
- creative-only (default: false) - If true, drops will only be denied while in creative mode!
