Anti-Drop
Anti-Drop 0.3 - Disable dropping in Creative mode!
Version: v0.3
Starting as a request, this plugin allows you to disable creative mode drops for players without permissions.
Features:
- Allows players with the "AntiDrop.Allow" node or OP to drop blocks in creative.
- Light weight, simple, open source.
- Also blocks the right clicking of chests, dispensers, workbenches and furnaces while in creative mode.
This plugin is currently not functioning, and a new version is under work. Please bear with me as I work out kinks in the new system.

Posted Mar 4, 2013I don't know if I'm the only one, but I keep getting this error:
could not load 'plugins/AntiDrops-0.6.jar' in folder 'plugins' org.bukkit.plugin.InvalidPluginException: java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: tk/yoshicraft/plugindev/antidrops/antidrops : Unsupported major.minor version 51.0
does anyone know why?

What you said about permission reminded me of a big issue. Any block placed by a person in creative remains after creative. This allows an issue where diamond blocks can be placed and broken, effectively bypassing the protection idea. I'll be looking into this as well.

If your giving somebody creative, generally you take their permissions level into consideration. What I would do in that situation is disable the use of signs that the Essentials plugin controls so well. For example, you may be using the Essentials sell sign, the permissions node may look like this: -essentials.signs.use.sell (or) essentials.signs.use.sell: false
But this will disable all selling. Even in survival mode.

Databases are possible, but they would be disable. Some people don't want that because of how slow it is, like Yummy said.
As for seperate inventories/signs, the seperate inventories are implemented in a unreleased version, but not in 0.3. Signs could possibly be added in 0.4 as well.

Don't worry, I take everyone into consideration. I've used mySQL and it can be slow and annoying. If I implement Database support, it will be completely optional and off by default.

Posted Apr 14, 2012Can you make it so when a player in creative places a block it can not be picked up by a player in survival, maybe store the information in a mysql database? Does this also separate inventories? Because they could be in creative take a stack of diamonds, switch to survival and drop them. Also most economy plugins use signs (essentials, chestshop etc.) are you able disable the interaction with signs.

Drop is denied automatically unless the user has the antidrop.allow permission.

Posted Apr 10, 2012it does not work with 1.2.5 RB. plugin wont load at start.
Btw its great plugin simple clear helpfull. Only thing I would like it to address is inventory when player gets items to his inv durring creative he can use them in sur. mode. Anty share is saving invetory for each mode but would be nice to see if there is not other way to do it.
