This plugin makes your items not despawn after death until you pick them up. Use it at server with your friends or whitelisted server!
The plugin aim is to keep everything like on the vanilla minecraft, but items despawn system.
It prevents only those items from despawn that were dropped in cause of someone's death.

Added new feature - drops!
Type "/drops" in chat in case if you are upset about losing your stuff and want it back.
You can take specific items from the drops GUI or make them despawn in push of one button if you lost your hope finding them.
Usage:
/drops [clear/get] <player>
*player argument is optional
Download and try the new feature yourself!

MAKE SURE YOU USE IT ON THE RIGHT MINECRAFT VERSION, OTHERWISE IT MAKES ITEMS DESPAWN INSTANTLY

My server config is not the issue, the plugin messed up item despawn time whenever someone dies. Before, the items despawned in 5 minutes. After they despawned upon death

no, its working fine together. if you have lost hope of getting your items back you can just use clearlag command and items will despawn
