AntiCheat
AntiCheat development and support was discontinued September 7th, 2014. The previous page is archived here for reference purposes. Official downloads are still available for use as is the project source code. You must use these at your own risk as I can no longer vouch for their rate of success.
There's a "Reloaded" version of this project which has been updated for the newer versions and is under current development. You should give it a look if you're interested in continuing to use AntiCheat: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/anticheatreloaded/
Thanks to everyone who has supported the AntiCheat project. Recently I have resigned my position as BukkitDev Team Lead and have decided to move on from Bukkit development. Unfortunately, this means that I will no longer be actively working on the AntiCheat source code, and as such I have decided to close the project.
Many thanks to JetBrains who have provided their IntelliJ IDE for development. Thanks to the many contributors to this project who's code helped do good in the community. Thanks to those of you who have provided your support in many different ways to the project: you know who you are, you made my life a lot better and I can't thank you enough for that. I am happy to say that this project has improved people's lives, and I couldn't have ever hoped to say more.

Posted Jun 10, 2012Plugin works great.
In the server settings, you can toggle flying as allowed or not. If it's on then you can start flying for a bit before it'll disconnect you. With Anti-Cheat, you can't even enable it and it tells you the actually plugin you're trying to use.
I know it does a lot more than block flying, but just making a comparison of how effective it is.
Just one problem. I get an error when disabling it (stopping my server) http://i48.tinypic.com/28wi360.png
The error doesn't seem to have any negative effect, but it bugs me. Anyone know what causes it?

Posted Jun 10, 2012I think this plugin lacks a lot of configuration.
I just installed it on my server because i am a long way away from my server i have around 250 ping to the server while that is quite playable what is not playable is this plugin telling me I am hacking when all I am doing is sprinting and jumping. its resetting my pos as well its rather annoying and theirs no way for me to loosen this check up only disable it completely.
The other option is disabling it completely for people that have issues with it via permissions but that leads to move work for me and that dose not sound like fun.

Posted Jun 9, 2012Can you add Hitting Multiple Entities check, and Hitting Direction check? The Forcefield hack feature makes you untouchable because it can attack 100 (exaggerated) zombies at once in all direction. Also, if you can prevent players from attack mobs while they are opening their inventory, using crafting table, furnace, brewing, enchanting, and chests would be nice.

Posted Jun 9, 2012AntiCheat throws "Fly hacking on the y-axis" warnings when players are ascending in mine carts on redstone-powered track (for example in a tight spiral).
I have also seen "Fly hacking" or "Moved too quickly" warnings when players are un-flying normally by double-tapping the space bar and falling to earth in creative mode...upon landing maybe.
It looks like besides just movement rate, you also need to check player status. For example, it should probably never warn when a player is in a minecart, since they are not in control of their movement, nor should it warn if they have turned off flying.

Just to let you know, there will NEVER be a time that you will see "No Bugs" present. There will ALWAYS be bugs in both AntiCheat and NoCheat+, it's just how the software works. We will always be improving the system, same with anything else. Bugs and new features are added daily, so you can feel free to check out dev builds to find fixes for any issues, but at least give us some help and tell us what's wrong instead of just saying "bugs"
