AntiCheat
AntiCheat development and support was discontinued September 7th, 2014. The previous page is archived here for reference purposes. Official downloads are still available for use as is the project source code. You must use these at your own risk as I can no longer vouch for their rate of success.
There's a "Reloaded" version of this project which has been updated for the newer versions and is under current development. You should give it a look if you're interested in continuing to use AntiCheat: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/anticheatreloaded/
Thanks to everyone who has supported the AntiCheat project. Recently I have resigned my position as BukkitDev Team Lead and have decided to move on from Bukkit development. Unfortunately, this means that I will no longer be actively working on the AntiCheat source code, and as such I have decided to close the project.
Many thanks to JetBrains who have provided their IntelliJ IDE for development. Thanks to the many contributors to this project who's code helped do good in the community. Thanks to those of you who have provided your support in many different ways to the project: you know who you are, you made my life a lot better and I can't thank you enough for that. I am happy to say that this project has improved people's lives, and I couldn't have ever hoped to say more.

thorns is a new enchantment that goes on your armor. if you hit someone who has thorns on their armor it damages you. For some reason if the person with thorns armor on doesnt have the exempt then it doesnt do the damage from the thorns enchantment

Posted Feb 14, 2013AntiCheat doesn't detect Nodus "timer" at all.
You can freely speedhack using timer.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Download and install Nodus.
2. Connect to any server using AntiCheat
3. Press U and type "timer set 10"
4. Press U and type "timer"
5. Try to walk and run.
Or even jump in slow motion
1-2. Same as above
3. Press U and type "timer set 0.3"
4. Press U and type "timer"
5. Matrix style which can completly destroy parkour experience.
Tested on AntiCheat build 414, cause above builds wouldn't startup without pre-setup configs and bukkit 2624 (Latest recommended build)
During tests got only "fly" hack detection caused by weird lag. Have no idea why speed should trigger "fly" check. This is ridiculous.
Tested on vanilla bukkit server with only AntiCheat installed with default configuration. Also, can't report it to GitHub cause they banned me from repo. As for now NoCheatPlus is able to detect and block timer. I would suggest to use it.

When it's ready. I don't set dates for release, I release when they're tested and I feel that they're better than what's currently out. In any case, it shouldn't matter; you can use dev builds all you want if you want to stay on the bleeding edge.

Posted Feb 8, 2013Someone was able to use forcefield with v1.5.5, maybe godmode. They had to stop moving for it to work but it was not being detected. Using default settings. Anything I can do?

Posted Feb 8, 2013Theres a bit of bug i think there is in this plugin sometimes when you jump in water from a high height to avoid fall damage you take damage and go back up to the top again! Is this just something conflicting with the no fall hack blocker?

Posted Feb 8, 2013Would be nice to have an exempt spam command, like I allow /sell hand. On my account I do /sell hand and sell of my inventory. But I like the spam command, I would just like to not have the spam command on certain commands. Also, I get fastbreak when breaking spider webs with a sword. I assume because it is a sword you should not be able to break things quickly which is why the fastbreak warning happens. But spiderwebs are different. *I want to pick and choose which commands to allow spam and disallow spam.**

Posted Feb 5, 2013Hey there, as everyone i have problems with fastbreaking and placing blabla. I tried to disable it by using anticheat.check.fastbreaking: false in my bukkit permissions but it doesn't disable it. Any suggestions? :P

Posted Feb 4, 2013I'm having problems with the fastplace/fastbreak detector. It is way to sensitive, I am the server owner and people that I know for a fact don't have fastplace/fastbreak hacks are showing me that anticheat is stopping them and is telling them that they are fastplacing even though they are not.
