AntiCheat
AntiCheat development and support was discontinued September 7th, 2014. The previous page is archived here for reference purposes. Official downloads are still available for use as is the project source code. You must use these at your own risk as I can no longer vouch for their rate of success.
There's a "Reloaded" version of this project which has been updated for the newer versions and is under current development. You should give it a look if you're interested in continuing to use AntiCheat: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/anticheatreloaded/
Thanks to everyone who has supported the AntiCheat project. Recently I have resigned my position as BukkitDev Team Lead and have decided to move on from Bukkit development. Unfortunately, this means that I will no longer be actively working on the AntiCheat source code, and as such I have decided to close the project.
Many thanks to JetBrains who have provided their IntelliJ IDE for development. Thanks to the many contributors to this project who's code helped do good in the community. Thanks to those of you who have provided your support in many different ways to the project: you know who you are, you made my life a lot better and I can't thank you enough for that. I am happy to say that this project has improved people's lives, and I couldn't have ever hoped to say more.

Hmm, default setup works fine for me,except the bug i posted above. I did, however, remove Essentials Protect as I know it can interfere with Anticheat. If you have that installed, I would recommend not Essentials Protect.

Posted Dec 27, 2012I too am having problems with the fast break check.
Even after raising the allowed breaks to 10 / second, players are still complaining of receiving fast break warnings while digging dirt with iron/diamond shovels.

Use permissions for that, and the sensitivity levels are the stuff you're playing around with on the magic config. There's no other numbers or magic thresholds that aren't there.

The anti-fastplace settings are way to sensitive, and I had to manually go in and disable it. (by setting the fastplace_maxviolations to a crazy high number D:)
I was unable to find a way to change any sort of settings for it that would actually help this problem (time minimum per item being used?)
I was also unable to find a way to stop any certain anti-hack from being enabled, and had to just change the forgiveness for the fastbreak plugin until there is some sort of update. It is hack-ey but it will have to do.
a feature request is the ability to enable or disable certain anti-hacks on a per-choice basis, while another request is the ability to change the fastbreak sensitivity levels.

Posted Dec 27, 2012Hi, I downloaded the plugin 1.4.6 but I get False Fastbreak detected messages. I thought that only happened with 1.4.6, but I tried to download the 1.4.5 and 1.4.2 and also happens to fail. Exactly says: (anticheat) fastbreaking detected. please wait 10 seconds before breaking blocks. Please help me.

Posted Dec 27, 2012Guys - please don't post inane logs here. You're wasting your time because I have no way of helping you if I don't know the circumstance in which the issue occurs. To put this in perspective, you can't just walk up to the police and say "I got mugged" and expect them to fix the issue. You have to let them know information about the incident such as location, descriptions, etc. it's the same here; you need to file a proper bug report (hit issues above) and include a debug log, information like what the player was doing, where they were, etc. If you don't know this info ASK YOUR PLAYERS. I can't blindly fix your issues.

Posted Dec 23, 2012Someone was banned for using world edit by putting in commands, But now they are banned and i dont want them to be but i dont know how to unban them and i have already deleted the plugin for 1.4.6 update
