AntiCheat

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

AntiCheat development and support was discontinued September 7th, 2014. The previous page is archived here for reference purposes. Official downloads are still available for use as is the project source code. You must use these at your own risk as I can no longer vouch for their rate of success.

There's a "Reloaded" version of this project which has been updated for the newer versions and is under current development. You should give it a look if you're interested in continuing to use AntiCheat: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/anticheatreloaded/

Thanks to everyone who has supported the AntiCheat project. Recently I have resigned my position as BukkitDev Team Lead and have decided to move on from Bukkit development. Unfortunately, this means that I will no longer be actively working on the AntiCheat source code, and as such I have decided to close the project.

Many thanks to JetBrains who have provided their IntelliJ IDE for development. Thanks to the many contributors to this project who's code helped do good in the community. Thanks to those of you who have provided your support in many different ways to the project: you know who you are, you made my life a lot better and I can't thank you enough for that. I am happy to say that this project has improved people's lives, and I couldn't have ever hoped to say more.

Another thing, when some of my staff is spying on someone, then "/tp" to another player, they become visible again. A lot of times they forget to retype "/anti spy <newplayer>" and instead just /tp to them.

I have already tried this, bukkit.yml does not support commands with spaces. I can alias just "/anticheat" but it will not alias "/anticheat spy"

Feature request. It's pretty tiring typing "/anti spy <player>" every time. Could you make an alias for the spy command for just: "/spy <player>"? Thanks!

Thnx for repply, but i must say im not touch anything at CFG file except with event "high" go to jail. Mine cfg as id is here:

at least 80% time players go to jail, but i get this error... lets say last 5-6 dev builds till latest.

You can't use NC+ and AntiCheat together, it's known to cause that specific problem.

I get kicked for going in one-deep water. Running the server on localhost. Using AntiCheat v1.3.8-U3. I also use NoCheatPlus (since none of the plugins cover all the hacks)

You removed the events from the config.yml, don't do that. If you want nothing to happen, put it to NONE, but don't just delete values.

During the update the "lang.yml" did not automatically update for me. The rest seems to run smooth.

If you read the information/Q&A pages, you'll get a lot of reading on that subject. I decided to take my own route, and although the two of us (meaning their team and me) are on good terms, I rarely agree with the choices they make or the kind of ... service they provide..

Have you ever thought about merging with "NoCheatPlus"? I think it'd be the most amazing thing if you would make on plugin. Would be so much more powerful than the hacker-teams themselves :D
Or don't you like each other?
