AntiSwear

Description
This plugin completely stops swearing of any kind on your server by allowing a range of punishments including but not limited to kicking changeing the message to whatever you want (this server is shit can become I am a poop face!) and even custom ones from other plugins via a command to be executed when someone swears. This plugin is activly supppoted and works with 1.6, 1.5, 1.5.1, 1.4.7, and 1.2.5 (for tekkit). This plugin is highly configurable and almost always can give you exactly what you want!

Features:

configurable words
ban as many words as you want!
Kicking system (optional)
Sign Censoring (as of version 3.4)
Colored chat messages for kick messages
Optional explosion sound on swearing

Permissions: (Used superperms should work with any up-to-date permissions plugin)

Permission	Description	Default
AntiSwear.ignore	Allows you to bypass the censor	Operator

Commands

/AntiSwear reload	AntiSwear.admin	Relaods the configuration

Setting up the config

#Do you want to kick players when they swear?
KICK_ON_SWEAR: true
#Set true if you want players to be kicked when they swear on signs
KICK_ON_SIGN_SWEAR: false
#The message to be shown to players when they swear. This will be the kick message if kicking is enabled.
KICK_MESSAGE: '&4Swearing is not allowed on this server!'
EXPLOSION_ON_SWEAR: true
#false for blocking message and true for doing NEW_MESSAGE instead.
REPLACE_MESSAGE: false
#Should the censored word be replaced with NEW_MESSAGE? ONly works if REPLACE_MESSAGE is false
BEEP_WORD: false
#Command for the console to execute when someone swears use <player> for the player that swears
COMMAND_ON_SWEAR: warn <player>
#The message to replace the swears with requires REPLACE_MESSAGE to be true
NEW_MESSAGE: I am a poop face!
#Put all words to censor here
list:
  - fuck
  - shit

Simply change the words to the swear words you want to block.
if you want to add more words just add "- Wordhere"

Yes that is because of your yaml. If you are using windows you can use a free program called notepadplusplus (just google it) to edit your config files. Could you please post a startup and shutdown log on pastebin. Also making a ticket is a good idea that way the plugins comments are not spammed with bug reports.

If you have a problem with the plugin then make a ticket, provide what version of the plugin you are using, your config.yml and what bukkit server version youre using

It works at first, but when the server restarts, it whipes itself. Is that because of the yaml? O_o

That means that you have some formatting errors in our yaml. The most common mistake is using tabs instead of spaces make shure you are not doing that. And btw a good tool to use for yaml editing is here

I'm having some issues with your plugin, it works like a charm, but the config wipes itself! Any ideas?

For the antinickswear what plugin is handling the nicknames? and for the /as reload you can do /antiswear reload. If you must have /as reload then go into bukkit.yml and under settings add 2 lines

settings:
alises:
- as:antiswear

Bukkit edits out the formatting with spaces and you do not need such big text we get what you are saying.

If you have replace message true then the entire message is replaced. If you choose to do beep word then only the swear word is replaced.

Help? the config is confusing me. only beep_word and replace_message though. what should my config be if i want the swear to be replaced for New_message?

The allowed words is actually a planned feature..... so you may want to come back to this plugin later. And btw this plugin actually creates allot less lag then most other antiswear plugins (Actually tested it)

For the whitelist If I added it then someone cold say Grassy Ass with no problem (assuming that ass is blocked). And for the anti-caps that is not an anti swear feature but an anti spam feature. Try an anti-spam plugin I recommend griefprevention it has a build in antispam.

Well... You can actually add a white list. So all of the blocked words variations could be entered in that. Could you also add a Caps blocked? Like blocking all caps but the first letter, etc.
