AnimalChestBanner

AnimalChest is a plugin that automatically spawns any spawn eggs placed in chests. Sick of your friends stealing your stuff? Place a couple zombie eggs in the chest and surprise them. AnimalChest will spice up your server by allowing players to pack their chests full of surprises.

Need a good laugh? Fill a chest full of pigs and watch the explosive porky madness ensue.

Configuration

Default config is written to plugins/AnimalChest/config.yml if it doesn't exist.

Metrics

metrics: If true, AnimalChest will submit metrics to mcstats.org. For further details see: https://forums.bukkit.org/threads/mcstats-plugin-metrics-r7-easy-advanced-plugin-statistics.77352/

Animal Velocity

animalHorizontalVelocity: The velocity at which creatures are thrown out of the chest horizontally {default: 0.7}
animalVerticalVelocity: The velocity at which creatures are thrown out of the chest vertically {default: 0.5}

Spawn Limit

limit: The total number of entities a single chest can spawn at once {default: 64}

This can be tweaked if the plugin is creating lag on your server

From quickly glancing at that code, this looks easily fixable. It seems that the sounds from Bukkit to Spigot aren't exactly the same. I'll make a quick fix where you can disable the sound effect so you can use it.

Also, I am already working on that command and the ability to tweak each chests velocities separately.

Hello ;) just tried your plugin on my server, did not work. Console error spam. spigot 1.9.2. Should there be a command to set a chest as a animalchest? (suggestion) or it effects every chest? I see that the plugin is for 1.8, but I did not see the harm in testing it. cool project I will be back down the road to see any progress. Cheers!
