Ancient Gates
Introduction
This plugin can allow those with permission, to create gates. These gates will teleport any player, entity (incl. passenger) or vehicle (incl. passenger) that enters that gate to the designated location and/or execute a command. This is a very easy to use, easy to maintain transportation plugin! As a bonus, the gates can look any way you like (vertical or horizontal), with a selection of portal materials.
To get started, try the in game command: /gate

The latest dev build fixes your issues with the implementation of an additional "enforceAccess" option in config (conf.json). Set this to true, and forget about the negative permissions from now on.

PM me a pastebin.com of you gates.json and I will manually revert it back to 1.5.5 for you whilst I look into this issue.
In future you should always keep backups of your plugin configs.

Posted May 22, 2013I when back to 1.5.5 now noting works all my gates are down and the plugin stopped working as well, so I put back v1.6.4 and noting works my gate network is junk, on what permission manager did you test the permissions nodes on, I use PermissionsEx v1.19.5 . The gates don’t go anywhere some of them are not on, they are unprotected.
The Ancient Gates I had let me make a gate "gold" and to let anyone to use it lets say vip I would have to add - ancientgates.use.gold to the vip group.

You've lost me, sorry :/.
All gate permissions are off by default. AncientGates has never previously offered access permissions and so the newer versions have always defaulted to off (i.e. anyone can walk through a gate)
If you wish to restrict users from using certain gates then you must use the minus permission nodes.
If you want to "whitelist" gates for groups, rather than "blacklist" them, then you simply place the wildcard minus permission node "-ancientgates.use.*" in the default group.
Also, permissions rely on Vault being installed, unless you are using standard Bukkit permissions.

you could keep the - ancientgates.use.* but on the - - ancientgates.use.* has to go.

I use the Ancient Gates Reloaded plugin and created a Gate called Creative .. but when I give the rank 'Speler' this permission node:
- ancientgates.use.*
With permissionsex , and i Test it, it says that I dont have acces to go there.. anyone have suggestions how to fix this problem?:S

Ok, I'll diff the two versions tonight and see if there are any changes with permissions.
You don't have to add anything, the plugin does that for you.
You could have reverted back to 1.5.5 in the meantime and kept all 32 gates. 1.5.5 will still work with the latest version.

Posted May 21, 2013I was using 1.5.5,I had to add ("entities": true,"vehicles": false,"cost": 0.0) to get my gates to open the all work like normal. My server had 32 gates on it however I just have 18 now.

Posted May 21, 2013I cant seem to get it to work. there are 4 gates on the server ,2 are for VIP and the other 2 are for Member how do I stop the Member from using the VIP gates.

The problem with a 2 way portal is the multiple entrances, there would be no way to know which one entrance you wanted to go to...

Posted May 19, 2013Hey, in the next update, could you maybe have a loading screen? If that's at all possible, sorta like in world of warcraft how when you go from one area to the next it loads up. That way the chunks can load slowly instead of all of a sudden trying to cram in all the chunk loading for you causing lag.

Maybe just have it a two-way portal?
