BungeeCord Usage
Ancient Gates - BungeeCord teleportation.
This plugin can teleport any player, entity (incl. passenger) or vehicle (incl. passenger) that enters that gate to the designated location and/or execute a command. With the addition of BungeeCord, not only can this plugin teleport all of these across worlds and/or execute commands but it can teleport them across servers and execute commands on the other server.
To get started, type /gate setconf bungeeCordSupport true.
BungeeCord Usage
Typing /gate setconf bungeeCordSupport true is literally all you need to do.
Using BungeeCord's messaging system it gives access to the following commands:
/gate setto [id] [fromserver] - Set “to” to your location on a remote server.
/gate setbungeetype [id] [LOCATION/SERVER] - Set teleportation type on the local server.
/gate addto [id] [fromserver] - Add another "to" at your location on a remote server.
/gate remto [id] [fromserver] - Remove a "to" near your location on a remote server.
To make one of your gates go to a BungeeCord server, simply teleport to the server using the /server [toserver] command, pick a location and type /gate setto [id] [fromserver]. The only new part is that you are specifying the server the gate resides.
If you want the gate to only teleport the player to the BungeeCord server and not a specific "to" location. Use the command /gate setbungeetype [id] SERVER on any gate that you've specified a BungeeCord location for. Each time the player enters the gate they will teleport to their last location on that server.
Remember - You MUST be connected to the server through the BungeeCord proxy, otherwise these commands and teleports will NOT work.
BungeeCord Permissions
ancientgates.setto.local - access to the setto command locally.
ancientgates.setto.bungee - access to the setto command externally.
ancientgates.setbungeetype - access to the setbungeetype command.
ancientgates.addto.local - access to the addto command locally.
ancientgates.addto.bungee - access to the addto command externally.
ancientgates.remto.local - access to the remto command locally.
ancientgates.remto.bungee - access to the remto command externally.
Advanced BungeeCord Usage
For advanced users only. Recommended only for dedicated or VPS servers.

Posted Aug 9, 2013Also one more bug I've come across:
When I attempt to "SETTO" from another connected bungee server, it doesn't actually set anything. If there is a player on the "FROM" server, it throws an exception and kicks them off. Still doesn't set anything. However, sometimes it DOES (which is an all around just kick in the crotch as far as finding a solid foundation for trial and error) but it sets the bungeetos server to null. I've had to set my TO for bungee portals all manually in the json db myself for the last while.
The stack:

Fortunately I've already been invesitgating this issue with another server admin.
Can you try the latest dev build for me and report back: build.elliotcraft.net/job/AncientGates/62/
Thanks!

Sorry for late reply, I've been quite busy lately. I just tried your build (62) to no avail. Same problem. I created a gate on Server A, set the from on Server A, went to Server B (my hub) and tried to setto gate (/gate setto gatename serverA) and it did not set it, kicked my friend off Server A and didn't save anything to the JSON database.

Use the build in the link below.
@GrumpleStache
I believe there is a Bungee TpSigns plugin on the spigotmc.org website somewhere for that =)

Posted Sep 29, 2013When i try to set up the /gate setto, it comes up with the error that the server is still trying to connect to BungeeCord. I have no idea what i should do because the server has been up constantly for several days and still shows the same error. Any suggestions?

This would suggest that you are either:
a) Connecting to the server directly and not through BungeeCord, or
b) Using an older version of BungeeCord
I would also suggest using the latest development build if using this plugin with BungeeCord. Click the development builds link on the main project page.

Could you try the latest development build first (look for the development builds link on the project overview page), and let me known if this resolves the issue.
If not, then send me your gates.json file.
Thanks =)

Posted Nov 21, 2013A question.
I wish to have "BungeeCord gate to only teleport the player to the server" do i then need the plugin on target server also?
Think it shouldent be needed when the portal only should act like "/server [name]" command.

Yes, the plugin is still required on the target server.
The reason for this is that Ancient Gates sends additional information to the target server before the player is teleported so as to handle incoming teleports efficiently.

Am missing something, still geting "... only use this command on a BungeeCord gate"
is socket communication also needed?

No it's not needed.
What you need to do is go to the server you want to teleport to and type:
"/gate setto [id] [server the gate is on]"
Then go back to the server the gate is on and type:
"/gate setbungeetype [id] server"
It's a bit cumbersome at the moment. I will be changing this for AncientGates v1.8 to make it more intuitive.

Litle donation on its way, as everyone should do when asking for support on good plug-in and gets it!

Posted Dec 3, 2013For some odd reason I can do /gate addserver in one server but not the other...
Any input on this? I put on the correct options in config, reloaded server, or is it just a plugin conflict?
Help is greatly appreciated (and greatly needed)

If you're using Advanced BungeeCord usage, you need to ensure that both "bungeeCordSupport" and "useSocketComms" are both set to true. If there are any errors starting up the socket comms port (check the server.log on startup), then AncientGates will disable socket comms and thus the "/gate addserver" command.
If you're really stuck, yet willing to give me access to your configuration settings, etc. Then drop me a PM and I'll help you get set up (so long as you have BungeeCord up and running).
