Changelog

🛡️ AegisGuard v1.2.5 — Release Notes

AegisGuard v1.2.5 is a major feature update focused on a true ClaimBlocks economy, safer claim operations, and easy migrations from other protection plugins.
Everything in this release has been fully polished and verified in-game, and it’s ready to ship ✅

✨ What’s New

💱 ClaimBlocks Exchange (Vault Economy)

Buy and sell ClaimBlocks using server currency with strong anti-abuse protection built in:

  • Fees (money sink), cooldowns, hourly limits, daily caps
  • Optional sell permission gating (server-controlled)
  • Optional sell-lock protection (anti-flip)

Commands

  • /ag ledger (or /ag blocks)
  • /ag blocks rates
  • /ag blocks buy <amount>
  • /ag blocks sell <amount>
  • /ag blocks help

Permissions

  • aegis.ledger
  • aegis.claimblocks.exchange
  • aegis.claimblocks.buy
  • aegis.claimblocks.sell

Requires: Vault + an economy plugin (EssentialsX / CMI / etc.) for exchange features.

⏱️ Playtime Rewards (Anti-AFK)

Players can earn ClaimBlocks through active playtime, with anti-AFK safeguards to prevent farming.

Permission

  • aegis.earn.blocks

✅ Expansion Approval Modes

Server owners can choose how expansions behave:

  • QUEUE (approval required)
  • INSTANT (auto-approve)

🧊 Safety Nets: Snapshots & Rollbacks

Automatic snapshots are taken before risky claim operations (like merges/expansions), with rollback support to recover cleanly from mistakes and edge cases.

🧳 Migration Tool (Import From Other Protection Plugins)

Import claims from supported protection plugins, including:

  • GriefPrevention
  • GriefDefender
  • Lands

Admin commands (copy/paste)

# Check what plugins have data
/agadmin migrate list

# Preview GriefPrevention import
/agadmin migrate preview griefprevention

# Actually import from GriefPrevention
/agadmin migrate import griefprevention --confirm

# Import from GriefDefender, forcing overlaps (advanced)
/agadmin migrate import gd --force --confirm

# Import only from a specific world
/agadmin migrate import lands --world=survival --confirm

Migration notes

Preview first is strongly recommended on larger servers.

--confirm prevents accidental imports.

--force allows overlapping imports (use carefully).

--world= lets you migrate gradually, one world at a time.

Permission

aegis.admin.migrate

💸 Fairer Initial Pricing Model

Base price now starts at 1 chunk, then scales properly with your configured expansion rate.
More consistent progression and fewer “cheap mega-claims.”

🔔 Claim Notify Controls

Improved control over claim entry/exit notifications.
Players can toggle their own notify status with /ag notify when PER_PLAYER mode is enabled.

Permission

aegis.notify

🌎 Language Note (Spanish / Español)

Most UI text is translated and formatted correctly, but some Spanish translations may be incomplete in a few newer GUIs/menus.

A couple menus may still show English or partially untranslated strings

Spanish server owners/admins can manually add missing keys to their language files if needed immediately

A fuller Spanish pass for remaining GUIs will arrive in future updates

🔌 Compatibility & Platforms

Built for modern servers (API 1.20+)

Folia supported

Platforms: Spigot, Paper, Purpur, Folia

Optional integrations vary by setup: Vault, PlaceholderAPI, CoreProtect, Dynmap, WorldGuard/WorldEdit, and more

🚀 Upgrade Notes

Always back up worlds + plugin data before updating.

For ClaimBlocks Exchange: install Vault + an economy plugin (EssentialsX / CMI / etc.).

Migrating? Keep the source plugin’s data folder in /plugins/ and run a preview first.

Thanks for supporting AegisGuard. 🛡️
