Protect your world. Empower your players. Ascend.
β‘ Folia Native β’ Living Territory Systems β’ Modern Admin Recovery
IMPORTANT BUGFIX UPDATE
AegisGuard v1.2.6.1 is an important stability and bugfix release for servers currently running v1.2.6.
This update focuses on fixing overlooked issues that could affect:
- storage reliability
- reload safety
- ClaimBlock exchange consistency
- non-Folia mob barrier behavior
- map hook reload handling
- cross-server compatibility for Bukkit, Paper, Purpur, and Folia-style servers
If you are using v1.2.6, updating to v1.2.6.1 is strongly recommended.
THE TERRITORY ENGINE STABILIZES
AegisGuard continues to push beyond old-style claim plugins by turning land protection into a living territory system with progression, economy, rentals, migration, recovery, and polished admin tooling.
With v1.2.6.1, the focus is not on replacing the major features introduced in v1.2.6, but on making them safer, more stable, and more reliable for real public servers.
WHAT DEFINES v1.2.6.1
v1.2.6.1 is the production bugfix follow-up to v1.2.6, focused on stability, compatibility, and safer live-server behavior.
π‘οΈ Stronger Runtime Stability
Several live-server issues were corrected to make AegisGuard more dependable during normal use, server restarts, and reload workflows.
This includes improvements to:
- runtime task safety
- service ownership consistency
- startup behavior
- cross-platform scheduling compatibility
πΎ Storage Reliability Improvements
Storage handling has been tightened so backend selection is more consistent and safer across supported setups.
This release improves:
- storage backend resolution
- SQL startup reliability
- SQLite, MySQL, and MariaDB support
- configuration consistency for storage selection
π± ClaimBlocks Exchange Ownership Fix
ClaimBlock exchange state is now handled more safely so command and GUI behavior remain in sync.
This helps prevent drift between:
- ClaimBlock exchange commands
- ClaimBlock exchange GUI flow
- cooldown tracking
- live exchange state
π Safer Reload Behavior
Reload handling has been improved so important systems behave more predictably when admins refresh the plugin.
This release improves reload behavior for:
- recurring tasks
- map hooks
- language/loading flow
- ClaimBlock exchange state
- general runtime service refreshes
π« Mob Barrier Fix
A bug affecting mob barrier behavior on non-Folia servers has been fixed, improving consistency across different server types.
πΊοΈ Better Map Hook Handling
Map integrations now behave more safely during reloads, especially when admins enable or disable them in configuration.
This improves compatibility with:
- Dynmap
- BlueMap
- Pl3xMap / Squaremap environments
βοΈ Better Cross-Server Compatibility
AegisGuard v1.2.6.1 tightens scheduler behavior and startup compatibility for modern server software, helping reduce platform-specific issues.
β Safer Java 17 Build Targeting
The build pipeline has been updated for safer Java 17 compatibility, reducing risk when building on newer JDK versions.
CORE FIXES IN v1.2.6.1
- fixed storage backend inconsistencies
- improved SQL driver support and startup handling
- fixed ClaimBlock exchange service ownership so GUI and command state stay synchronized
- fixed non-Folia mob barrier execution behavior
- improved reload safety for services and repeating tasks
- improved map hook reload behavior so integrations can be safely refreshed
- improved Folia-aware scheduling behavior
- improved Java 17 build targeting for safer compatibility
- updated plugin, config, and release versioning to 1.2.6.1
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE LARGER JAR
The v1.2.6.1 JAR is larger than previous versions because this release now bundles important dependencies directly inside the final build.
This was done intentionally to improve compatibility and reduce setup problems, especially for:
- larger servers
- SQL-backed servers
- servers using SQLite, MySQL, or MariaDB
- server owners who want a more plug-and-play installation
Bundled dependencies now include support for:
- SQLite
- MySQL
- MariaDB
- connection pooling and related runtime libraries
This means the final release JAR is larger, but it is also more complete and more reliable for public use.
v1.2.6 FEATURE FOUNDATION
All major systems introduced or improved in v1.2.6 remain part of the plugin experience, including:
- stronger protection coverage
- restored Sentinel's Scepter server-zone claiming
- Frontier Expansion improvements
- Plot Ascension progression flow
- TradeStalls and Local Market support
- stronger group plot and treasury systems
- snapshot, rollback, migration, and diagnostics tooling
- improved handbook, GUI, and language synchronization
v1.2.6.1 builds on that foundation by making those systems safer to run live.
