This plugin is a multi world management plugin!

It will simply allow you to manage a lobby world, from where you can place "self designed" portals to other worlds! But not just to other worlds! It will allow you to have Adventure Maps on your server!
When a player enters a portal with a sign above that describes the adventure map, he will not only be teleported to the adventuremap
but to his OWN COPY of the adventure map! This will allow him to destroy everything as he wishes, or play the adventure map as it is intended!
Installation and configuration guide
Portals
The portals used for teleporting is just the "center of a normal nether portal" with whatever design around it you like!
The ID of the "center of normal nether portals" is '90', so you can spawn it and design your own portals! You can use whatever materials
around it you like, as long as the player stands in the "block id 90" to get teleported, and the sign is placed on the block directly above the player!
When placing the sign above the portal block, be sure to add the name of the map that portal will lead to in line #2 anywhere on the sign like this [MapName]. This also applies for the Multiplayer portal, just by typing [Friends] instead of the map name as seen in this example:

Anti-cheat
To prevent players from cheating, a few settings can be made individually for each adventuremap.
It is possible to decide which blocks CAN be broken, and which CANNOT.
And which blocks CAN be placed, and which CANNOT.
It is also possible for an admin to play through an adventure map of his own copy in "admin mode". This will, if enabled on the specific map, only allow players in the future, to place blocks on the exact same spot that the admin placed them on. This way players cannot cheat by placing water places they are not allowed to get over fences and so on.
Additional features
Apart from all of this, the plugin also have a lot of other features!
When a player leaves a copy world (his own world) to the lobby, or exit the server, he will be able to spawn on the exact same location next time he/she enters his/her map!
Players will loose all items when joining a copy world, so they cannot cheat with items from other worlds!
Individual "chat rooms" for each world, so the players can only see the messages they wanna see.
And again, a lot more features!

The only difference between you guys and me, is that you guys use CentOS and i'm on Debian 6.
I've sent the newest build of AdvenTour to GmK1, and if that build works, i will release it as quickly as possible :)

btw running centos quad 8gb ram.

I'm using a linux server. Debian. 8 Core with 16GB of RAM.
Well, CraftBukkit is pretty laggy, and filled with bugs since 1.3, so that properbly has something to do with it. I'm using the latest dev. build of CraftBukkit on my server. I would recommend that you do the same :-)

I am glad it's not only our server, that shows that there is some issue with the plugin. Are you running on linux? As far as I know, Madsens uses a windows box for his server. But could that be an issue?
My guess is that some of the multiworld mechanisms changed in 1.3, which is why e.g. Multiverse had such a trouble to update properly. Maybe that is why the ghosts remain?
But I have no idea, am no developer :(
Edit: Yes Madsens, also when I am the *only* player, on a freshly restarted server. I am testing on smp.blocktopia.net right now with only Adventour and no other plugin, if you want to join.

I don't think i will move the template maps in the next version, as the people using the plugins would properbly fuck it all up on the next update. Plus, when the server is empty, all maps except the template ones, should be in /inactive/ :)
Do you also get this error when youre the only logged on player?

Posted Aug 11, 2012if you are going to release a new version, could you make a setting so we can put the template maps in a folder like /maps/world etc. it would be nice for house keeping of the folder area. not a big deal but would be nice.
the common link between both our issues is pex, ill run without pex and see if it still occurs. ill get back to you shortly.
edit: without pex same issue applies, quit the server while on a map, checked the player list in the console still logged in. logged in, now 2 of me.
unfortunately there is nothing in the server log that is useful. No errors either way.

Wow, its really weird. I can't replicate this error. If youre interested i have a server with AdvenTour, WorldGuard and WorldEdit installed, and if you want, you can see if you can make it give the same error? Would help me find the error!

we do experience it from time to time, but our server wrapper forces the server to close after 5 mins, so most of the time it is not so much a problem. Our server restarts every 4 hours to maintain stability.
This only occurs when there are ghosts left on the server. When there are no ghosts no issues.
I thought it was due to pvp arena running along side it. but if its been confirmed with just pex and adventour.

I'll try to run a complete barebones install and see. But as they appear when people log out while on an AdvenTour world, my guess is the multiworld handling somehow. I'll get back to you with more info (if we get any)
Edit:
That's on a freshly started server. He joined an Adventour map, and disconnected while on the map. Server did not remove him, and he had a ghost when he came back.
Server does not manage to stop anymore after that. When trying to shut down, it lags out (as in: Does never shut down except if you forcequit java)

There's also a very bad bug we experience:
If you have multiple people on the server, and people leave and reconnect while they're on a map, they leave a ghost of themselves on the server. At one point we had like 10 ghosts of the same person, taking spots, and 5 of another person, and so on.
The server also cannot shut down anymore in that case.
This happens only since 1.3, and there is no error / debug log. It simply happens.

Oh, you said "no new issues". I'm sorry. I read it as "new issues". Well theres a very small chat bug, that gives an error when the server is started. But i already fixed that for the next version! :)

There is already a "play with friends" function. It's called the "friends" portal. Maybe i will create a limit in the future, but for now, players can choose themself if they wanna cheat or not :)
