AdvancedChat is a useful plugin which adds a lot of functions to make ingame chatting much easier.

Commands:

• /msg <target> <message> (sends a private message to a specific player)
• /r <message> (Reply to the last message recieved)
• /togglechat (toggles recieving private messages)
• /forcemsg <target> <message> (only for admins sends a message even if the player doesn't recieve messages)
• /filter <add/remove> <word> (only for admins adds/removes a sepcific word to the list of forbidden words)
• /chat <player> (once joined a chat, each message you send will be a private message to the other Player, so you don't have to write /msg if you are chatting. /chat close to leave chat) 
• /Chatroom <create/join/leave> <name> (You are able to create a Chatroom or join another ones. It's like a WhatsApp Group)
• /c <message> (sends a message to all members of your chatroom)
• /mute <player> (only for admins mutes a player)
• /unmute <Player> (only for admins Unmutes a Player)

ChatFilter: If a message contains one of the words in the filter, the message will be cancelled. Tip: when adding new words to the filter, use only lower case.

 Config: config.usePermissions: turn this to true: only Players with specific permissions are able to perform commands. Turn this to false(dafault): all Players are able to use all commands (admin only excepted)

Permissions: 

• chat.useMsg
• chat.mute
• chat.chatroom
• chat.forceMsg
• chat.filter

Only tested on Minecraft Version 1.7.10, 1.8, 1.12 but it should work with nearly all versions.
