What steps will reproduce the problem?1. Using XcraftGate ;)
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?Animals are not meant to despawn, but when XcraftGate is used they do (pretty sure this happens when the chunk is unloaded)
This happens with latest stable and development versions, and stops when XcraftGate is disabled.
Need some more info.
What version of XCG are you using?
What bukkit version?
There are many cases and options that influence spawning or despawning of animals. Many of them not related to any plugin. What makes you sure XCG is the reason?
Show me a /gworld info of that world.
Under what circumstances do animals despawn?
@MCEngelier: Go
As I said, it happens with the latest stable and development versions and stops when XcraftGate is disabled (with no other plugins installed) - this is why I accused XcraftGate :P Animals are not meant to despawn at all now, correct?
Affects the following worlds: http:oi43.tinypic.com/34oww77.jpg http:oi42.tinypic.com/spdvgx.jpg
It seems to happen inconsistently when all players are far away, like a monster mob would despawn.
Hrm. I played around with this for some time now, and I'm not able to reproduce any animal despawning that would surprise me.
What animals are we talking about? Pigs running around randomly? Tamed wolfes?
I'm not 100% sure animals will survive a chunk unload - I'll check on that.
