Hello anybody,
I editing config (changing username and password for MySQL), save, and reload server.
Config resets to default.

You must not change "host" "username" "password" "port" and "database" field, just complete after them.

doing this to me as well done as plysken has suggested but what it does is reset and remove the dbDatabase, dbHost, dbPass and dbUser fields.

Either:

You are editing the values incorrectly - don't use tabs, no extra lines etc You are missing a vaule - eg leaving password blank Using an older version of the plugin.

Thanks for the quick reply, popped my config through the online yml parser seems that it didn't like the curly bracket in my password "{" might be worth noting in setup tutorial not to use these characters for the password. Makes loads of sense now I look at it!

Yup that would also make sense :)

Sorry about the problem, but I am sure you can understand that it isn't really one I can fix. :P I will make sure to add that to the instructions somewhere though.
