Overview

VoxelSniper is the premier long range map editing tool for Minecraft. This mod allows you to edit any block that you can see using an arrow (for replacing) and a gunpowder (for adding). It is best used by those with a strong attention to detail and fits a wide array of applications, from making detailed edits to structures with the snipe brush, to making massive terraforming jobs a breeze with some of the earth shattering soft selection tools.

Metrics

This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:

A unique identifier
The server's version of Java
Whether the server is in offline or online mode
The plugin's version
The server's version
The OS version/name and architecture
The core count for the CPU
The number of players online
The Metrics version
The number of Snipers/LiteSnipers online
The number of times Brushes are used

Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

then click with your arrow or gunpowder tool

Install VoxelUpdate on your server, then do /voxelinstall VoxelSniper or you can grab the file directly from our wiki. The advantage to VoxelUpdate is that you can get automatic updates.

Im still quite new to sniping in my world, and have one question: Is there a way to get colored wool? Its a stupid question and has probably already been answered.

I believe you have to download it from the game... But it's a long time ago that i've used it, so I forgot the command... Just look around on the internet and you'll find it, I had the same problem ;)

I cant find where to download the jar file:( i clicked the download button on this page and it downloaded voxelupdate which isnt the plugin !!!! can someone tell me where to find the jar file please :)

I don't think that is the entire error log. There should be a line that says something like "Caused by line X in Y.java"

Can someone basically tell me how to install voxelsnipe because i use the latest one and everything downloads but when i do /b it says unknown command like i didn't even download the plugin what's up?

Hi when i type /b br or /b dr i get the "no such brush" message. When i type "/vs performers" i get my current configuration like ive typed "/vs". Can anyone help me?

I am having a problem where when I install voxelsniper I am able to use it but when I try to add other snipers in the snipers text and have them use it it just gives them examples of what the command does in white text. Is there something I am missing here?

Got the problem fixed. Whats the best way of making an authentic jungle biome using voxel sniper? When sniping in /b t jungle it pops in 2x2 trees but what you'll notice in actual jungle biomes are sprawling vines having off of the edge of trees, different sized trees, leaves combing the floor of the jungle between the trees. Maybe a good idea would be to add in a biome brush?

Hi Voxel,

I'm getting an issue when trying use brushes at high heights (above the clouds) that says "you clicked outside of your sniping range". That can include any brush such as /b blob or /b v

I have version 5.133 and my /vs range is off. I've also tried deleting my config files

Try deleting the config file for update, making sure you've got the latest version of VoxelUpdate then try again.
