What steps will reproduce the problem?1.If I go to the Pandorabot website and I ask my bot "Good morning ARCbot" (currently using ARCbot)
I always get this " Human: good morning arcbot ARCbot: How are you this fine morning? "
But Asking it on my server yields "This remark is either to simple or too complex, please tell me more about ..."2.I ask "Why would I ban cherif". My ingame bot always answer stuff like "Indeed, why would I ban cherif seems like a good topic". It is just not the type of answer the bot gives me on the website.
What version of the product are you using??
Please provide any additional information below.Changing bot does not seem to help. I tested using ARCbot (botid=869f27156e349930) , Izzy (botid=9dc246ca4e3473ca) and many others.
Human : random question
Bot : "Did you know that you can download your own chat robot and create your own robot personality"
That is an element of the ALICE pandorabot base that nearly every bot is based on.
Are you using v0.3?
Yes, using latest version, V0.3
Are you getting similar results,
For example asking "Why is the sky blue" or "How are you,(random name)" should give a straight-forward answers
I also get occasional typos like some random letters missing. Will provide a few screenshots.
perhaps my bot is not accessing the database, or is allowed lesser CPU times than the WEB-bot?
I got some screenshots if needed
Should have the same results, doing some testing right now on your current situation, ill let you know in a few minutes :)
I found something very interesting.
It SEEMS that
the bot is missing the first letter of my questions.
Ok very odd, hmm... i am using your EXACT setup (or atleast from what you provided) and am not getting any different answers...
keep in mind that a lot of questions have multiple possible answers (chooses randomly among them).
Hmmm, try stopping the server, changing the config to match the correct bot (make sure there are not extra spaces after the 869f27156e349930 and then start the server.
If you PM me the server ip i could come on and help out
@DanielYRH: Go
All right. I will do that and give you updates.
By the way I am using "$" to summon the bot. I had same results when using "infobot" as a name so I rule out that the $ is causing an error but know knows.
Reinstalling fresh and letting you know.
Ok so I reinstalled everything fresh.
Here is the questions and anwsers I get :
You can join my server if you want. talk to Arcbrine, I will give you the nodes for testing the bot. just tell me your username.
69.160.47.8
Here is my config:
bot-id: a24c9b836e3485f2 bot-name: InfoBot bot-nick: $
