uSkyBlock
This DevBukkit page is being updated again with current releases and links to the maintained uSkyBlock project. We had lost access to the DevBukkit project page for some time, but have now regained it and are bringing it back up to date.
uSkyBlock is an open-source Skyblock plugin for Paper and Spigot.
Start on a small floating island, build it into something thriving, complete challenges, and team up with other players to push your island further.

Posted May 29, 2015I have opened a small server to run the latest version of uSkyblock (10 slots only).
The default rank has all the basic, advanced and party permissions. Moderator and Admin permissions are not included as they can spoil other players islands or even the skyworld.
Join us on: uskyblock.redirectme.net
As the server is work in progress things might be added or removed, for now we only have a skyworld and skyworld_nether.
Use the signs in the GUI (command /is) for information about the uSkyblock.
Depending on the use of the server I will be present myself from time to time and I can increase the player slots if needed.

I have made an attempt to add the flower biome to the plugin (yes I have coded for a first time). If our main dev approves my contribution (pull request on github) then it will be added in the next release (unless I made a mistake in the code)

I will ask our dev (as I dont code myself) what he thinks and if he agrees then it would not take that much to add.
I do think that the flowers in the flower forest dont spawn but are generated when the chunk is generated which therefore make the biome obsolete to add into the plugin.

you can use Multiverse to block spawning per world, not sure if mobspawners still work after but you can test that yourself then.

It could be caused by a tick-delay, going to spawn and back to the island should fix it.

Posted May 24, 2015Is it possible to create a uHellBlock or uEndBlock, to have the same as this plugin just starting in the end/nether world with the end/nether island. And for Hellblock like a netherrack generator (lava + lava = netherrack), nether tools, nether armour, nether farming, nether brewing, glowtree, infinite lava source, nobedexplode. And for Endblock like a grass generator (water + water = grass), end tree, ender tools, ender armour, obsidianbreak, end farming, end brewing. A coop system, custom challenges, different commands.

There will be no more biomes added to the plugin. The biomes you mention as an example wont add anything to the gameplay of uSkyblock, they only generate structures/blocks when chunks are generated which we dont do as it's an empty world we generate.

Posted May 24, 2015@dutchy1001 I'm not sure if you understood correctly here's what I meant: when a player types /island to start/reset their island a gui menu will appear. This gui menu will have different island schematics for you to choose from, for example you can pick a nether island, a end island, or a sky island. This isn't for different ranks get different schematics, what I'm wondering is if you can add the ability for the same groups to choose different island schematics of their choosing when starting. Also if possible have the end/nether start in either the end/nether biome or skyworld, then the sky island starts In the regular sky world and biome. Also noticed a spelling mistake, in the support plugins section it saids "ScoreBoeardStats". To be honnest this doesnt looks to be an uSkyblock issue, not sure were to look to solve that then.

Posted May 24, 2015Hey, we've just reopened the Skyblock world on our server, though we have stumbled across a little problem. Sand, gravel and other blocks influenced by gravity don't seem to fall properly. This glitch only occurs in the Skyblock world, all of the other worlds are working fine.

Your idea does sounds like/based on the issue we discussed in a pm earlier.
I do think the idea of the GUI might have potential and I will look into this.
As for the trust idea we we have been discussing this option but due to other issue's it's on a waiting list and might or might not be added at a later stage. We can that implement a similar GUI as we now have for the party system to turn on or off permissions that players are allowed to do.

We are arware of the lava bukkit issue. Just make sure you only hold 1 bukkit for now.
Saying that, if their that far into building their skyblock island and have stack(s) of bukkits then they should not need to click on the obsidian with a bukkit, to me that sounds like they try to abuse the system to gain lava bukkits ;)
