I'm very excited for this plugin, I look forward to future horror aspects. But just as a simple idea, I'm NOT sure if it's possible. But as you said mobs randomly spawn around the player. I thought it'd be interesting to use jump-scare creepers. Because I'm seen several plugins prevent creeper explosions RIGHT before they happen. So potentially you could use that as a scare for the players. Just an idea. Good luck! Hope it works out well!
