Description
This plugin looks for suitable Minecarts and links them together if possible. When two Minecarts are being "linked", the Minecarts will act as one single moving train.
Once carts are successfully linked, an effect is played and their velocity is shared in combination with an individual factor for each Minecart, which is used to remain a steady gap between carts. This gap is adjustable, the force at which this happens as well.
End result: a train! You can move it, make a roller-coaster out of it, split it in half, watch trains collide, whatever you want to do with trains. :)
As for 1.21, it is also possible to safely exit your train by setting an exit offset with a (sideways) push factor for the train. This feature is disabled by default. (only affects dropped items). If you want to display arrival times on signs (see redstone circuit part) you need SignLink, see the downloads on the bottom of the page.
As for 1.35 you can set train properties to make 'special' trains, or to 'finalize' a train

FAQ
When players are near, trains reach their destinations. With no one near, they don't. What do I do?
By default trains do not keep chunks loaded, and they will unload once they move into unloaded chunks. To make trains keep the chunk area (and themselves) around them loaded, set the 'keepchunksloaded' property to True. This can be done using the /train keepchunksloaded true command, using a property sign or by changing it to true in the DefaultTrainProperties.yml file. Why not boats?!?!
Incompatibilities
If you have another plugin that performs similar Minecart replacement techniques, it is likely that TrainCarts will not function or function poorly. For the 'chunk persistence' part of this plugin, other plugins that unload chunks without firing events result in this feature failing. Minebackup is known for having this problem.
Metrics
This plugin sends server count statistics to MCStats.org. You can (globally) opt out in the PluginMetrics/config.yml file.

Posted Jun 23, 2013Good day Bergerkiller, can you confirm that "Remote control" works with the current Traincarts build? I made a Ticket about it some days ago but still had no inital review. I just want to know if I'm using the wrong commands, or permissions or something other, or if remote control is not even enabled in traincarts at this time. The other signs work correct on our sever (e.g. destroy, property, tag, blocker). And our normal rail system works great. Thanks for your help and this great plugin!

Before I used to have the v1.72.7 with BKcommonlib #103 Now updated it at v1.72.8 with the same build of Bk. I also tried changing the property as you said, but if setted "false" user can't enter and if setted "true" (as it was) it does the same problem

Posted Jun 19, 2013Hi, as first I've to say I simply love this plugin which is the most suitable for the subway network of my server. When I set up the railway line, using all the sign etc, I (as admin) tested the whole project and it was perfect, all the train arrived on time, etc... The problem came when I opend the railway station at the users, which immediatly started bugging after about 50 block from the station remaining fixed in their cart while the train continued going on. Than, when the next one arrived everyone got killed (as setted) from the train. Now, as soon as that problem didn't occured with an admin (permissions node - '*') is it possbile that users aren't allowed to use the train? Because i saw that they start bugging when they go faster than defaut minecart.
So, i need to fix this problem because in this way the plugin is absolutly unuseful. Thanks for the help, Gughy14

we have problems with the transfer-sign. I made a ticket for this problem. You may could give me a piece of advice how I could fix it. Maybe the syntax has changed since 1.4.7. Our server was shutdown for quit a long time. :-(

And maybe if it's possible:

Note: This will work only if player exists in minecart and lever is block by block near railway.
