How to install/use Trade:

Commands:

Okay, there are a few commands. But they are completely optional.

/trade <playername> - Requests the named player.
/trade accept <playername> - Accepts request of named player.
/trade refuse <playername> - Refuses request of named player.
/trade ignore - Ignores all incoming requests.
/trade reload - Reloads the yamls.

Known Issues:

Trade was rewritten after version 1.0. Version 1.0 is currently in BETA. It is not completely safe to say the BETA version does not contain any glitches at all but it is safer than any of the previous versions. If you want to use Trade use at least the BETA version"

Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.

Sorry Tetdoss, without a error message or a bit of a description on how and when your problems appear, I can't help you. It's helpful to know that you are using PEX but I'm using it as well with version 0.4.1 of Trade but I haven't found any problems.

Here's what you can do to help me find a solution:

Post you current config.yml and language.yml settings
Remove the Trade folder in the plugins folder (after backing up of course) and let the plugin generate a new config.yml and language.yml for you
Check to see if there are not any plugins / mods involved. Plugins or mods that can sort inventories could mess a lot up.
Start with a clean server and a clean (unmodded) Minecraft to see if you still have the problem.
Try if you still have the same problems when disabling the economy feature.
Give a brief description on how you can take the golden block can you just grab it from your inventory, shift clicking etc.
File a ticket about this problem to help me keep things organised.

I would like to help you but for that you need to help me gather information about your problem first. If you find it difficult to gather this information you could send me your server IP and I will test some things out myself.

Moreover my previous bug, this plugin make my serveur crash on reload ! And we can take golden block etc while a trade.

Please help me.

Hello Braveras,

Hmm, tricky one. You might check if there are any plugins that can disable certain permissions inside regions or area's. I don't know any but I think this could be the best solution for you.

Try removing the language file and let the plugin generate a new one. That should fix some of the messages. I noticed that I made some mistakes and I will try to upload a new version tonight.

got a issue with the text.

when interacting with another player the message's read:

"You requested ther_player to trade" "You are trading with ther_player" "You added mount to trade! Current balance: alance" "ther_player has accepted the trade"

i checked the config lang file and all looks fine so i assume there could be a issue where the "&" isnt working as it should and also takes out the first letter of the text.

this is with version 0.4.1 that was added this morning.

Can I disable this plugin in a specific part of my server world? I have a problem: In the lobby of MobArena, player can trade obects and enter the arena with extra potions and extra items... Can I disable the use of this plugin in the lobby of MobArena? Thanks

With PEX I believe you can take or remove a permission using a minus symbol. So trade.request.right-click would give a player the permission and -trade.request.right-click would remove it.

I've added some permissions in 0.4.1 see if they suit your needs.

Hello Ferkswe,

Best suggestion I heard so far! I will see if I can make a countdown. The second suggestion should already be in the plugin. At least I'm sure that if you have accepted and the other player changes something it will de-accept. I don't know if it works the same if you're the one that makes the change.

Does this also work with EssentialsEco? The tutorial say only Iconomy. But i see it have vault as dependecie. So does it also work with essentials eco? If not could you please add it?

Could you add two peices of protection? 1. 3 second countdown after both players accepted a trade. 2. If either of the players accepted the trade and either one of them makes a change, it would put them both back to unaccepted.

I don't think I am able to do that because i'm currently using Pex, May I ask why you deleted it from the config? I do like it being a permissions however players are able to trade with no permission =/.

[SUGGESTION]
Would you also be able to add the permission:
trade.accept
Because players are able to trade with NPC's on my server.
By adding this the other player must have trade.accept to receive trade requests.
Also adding a new Language: You cant trade with this player.

Just to say Thanks for this awesome plugin, I think its crucial on every server.
+ We uploaded a video on the same day =)

Not a bug. It's intended because if I set it to false servers without a permission system can't use the right click functionality. Try setting the permission in your default group to false.

There will be more permissions to specify things a bit.

[BUG]
Players can just right-click trade without any permissions.
Mind changing all the permissions to false?
trade.request false.
And also adding the trade.request.right-click-accept
