What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?

Please provide any additional information below.//

I like this plugin. Just tested it out and the reception of it is great.

Just on thing though. I already noticed a drawback of finding marks as it is now. You need to know the player name to find (and destroy) marks. Of course in smaller communities it goes well, but when there are multiple factions in multiple wars it gets quite hectic when you try to keep your property clean of hostile marks.

In your video you told that the server this was made for was an all-out-clan-war-server. I saw you are using SimpleClan. Lets say when war is enabled between the clans it will count as hostile. So the nearest mark made by a member of them, when searched, will be targeted by the compass.

    Thanks for your time,
    Scriblon

(Second less important: can you post a link to your source?)

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to provide me with feedback on RiftCraft, without user feedback it would be impossible to fine-tune/improve the plug-in.

Secondly, I deeply apologize for the lack of activity/response regarding this plug-in; as you mentioned above I run an ClanWar server, and a destroyable region protection plug-in that is in high demand on my server has stolen a majority of my attention.

With that said, RiftCraft has actually had a lot of work done on it that hasn’t gone public yet, one such update addressed your exact concern.

In the current version of RiftCraft players can first use the command:

    /rc find

To locate all players that have a mark within 15 tiles of where the command user is standing. Then once the player has been armed with a list of nearby mark location owners they can then use:

    /rc find <playername>

To locate the nearest mark by the specified player. We’ve found that this eliminates the confusion of “Who has marked in my base”. However we do still want to revisit mark destruction, more specifically the radius of a destruction attempt so that you don’t have to be EXACTLY on the spot, but within a 3x3x3 block.

I have been focusing on RiftCraft the last few days trying to get it up to date, so hopefully I will be able to release a newer version in the near future. However, before I release anything I want to first update the SQL data exporter/importer with a new one that I wrote (improves import/export speed) and to update the configuration system to the new 1137 standard.

Also, I’ve been trying for two days straight to get RiftCrafts source code up on GitHub for you, but unfortunately GitHub is un-user friendly as humanly possible and has proven to be extremely confusing. I’ve followed 4 tutorials verbatim and have been met with nothing but failure… At this point I am simply getting a non informative error:

    Master: master [rejected]

But once I figure out how to overcome this issue I will make sure to post the GitHub link on the main plug-in page.

Thank you once again Scriblon for taking the time to contribute to the RiftCraft project!

    @vermillion2083: Go

    /rc find

That is exactly what I meant and maybe better to implement than what I was suggesting. Takes the dependency out on a group management plugin like simpleClans or factions ;) .

Like I said on the forum, you can pm me here or on github if you still need help with git.

    Thanks for the answer.
