What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?
More customization in terms of rewards. For example, instead of only doing 'cash' rewards, you could do 'command'(execute a command as a console upon win - something in terms of 'pex user <player> group add awesome'), or you could do item rewards as well.
you could specify which kind of rewards to give in the config file. This would allow servers to offer better rewards for players that play this mod.

plugin 'Quests" by _Blackvein_ uses that technique (http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/quests/pages/main/reference/) if you need an example.
