Downloads
I'm too lazy to upload TARDIS files to Bukkit anymore, as builds are automatically created when the plugin is updated and changes pushed to GitHub.
Version specific downloads can be found here: https://tardis.pages.dev/download
Please make sure you are using the latest Spigot/Paper builds (for the Minecraft version you are running) before installing TARDIS or creating an issue!
What it does
TARDIS is a plugin that gives you the ability to create a Police Box that lets you time travel (teleport) to random locations. It adds a Whovian twist to the typical /sethome and /home commands.
As a player, you can:
- Create a TARDIS that is bigger on the inside.
- Time travel to a random location.
- Time travel back home (where you created the TARDIS initially).
- Save and list interesting time travel locations, so you can return to them easily.
- Take companions with you when you time travel.
- Make your TARDIS blend in with the Chameleon Circuit.
- Use your own schematic to build the TARDIS interior
- Grow new TARDIS rooms
- Use Artron Energy
- Remote control the TARDIS
- Custom TARDIS sounds with companion Resource Pack
- Custom TARDIS textures with companion Resource Pack

Installation
As a minimum, just drop the TARDIS.jar, TARDISChunkGenerator.jar (look under Additional Files on the download page) and any optional plugins listed below into the Bukkit plugins folder and start your server. For more detailed instructions see: https://tardis.pages.dev/installation-v5
Optional installs
These are not needed for TARDIS to function, but enhance the plugin with extra features...
- Install the TARDIS-SoundResourcePack in the Minecraft client to hear custom TARDIS sounds
- Install the TARDIS-Resource-Pack to see aal the fancy textures and models (requires TARDIS v4.2 or higher).
- Install the TARDISChunkGenerator plugin so that you can generate TARDISes in their own self-contained world (included on the TARDIS plugin download page under Additional files).
- Install WorldGuard to automatically protect your TARDIS from griefing, and stop mobs spawning in TARDIS worlds.
- Install TARDISWeepingAngels to add some Whovian mobs to the game.
- Install a Permissions plugin, so that you can restrict or grant players the rights to use TARDIS’ different features. We like PermissionsBukkit.

Bugs / Requests
Please post a ticket for TARDIS plugin requests and bugs, thank you :)
WARNING: I am no longer prepared to waste my time looking at incomplete tickets. If your ticket does not follow the guidelines set out below, it will be deleted immediately!
Make sure you have read the FAQs first, as your question may already be answered there. Also make sure you have searched for a previous ticket with the same/similar issue (use the Filters to search closed tickets).
If you are going to create a BUG ticket you need to supply relevant information (as I'm not a mind reader, nor do I have access to your server...) - as a minimum you need:
- Exact CraftBukkit version i.e. NOT 'the latest' - use the
/tardis versioncommand if possible, otherwise copy from server log - Exact TARDIS version i.e. NOT 'the latest' - use the
/tardis versioncommand if possible, otherwise copy from server log - The server log showing the entire error (as a paste or at Pastebin - NOT a screenshot) - this should be the log from when the server starts up right through to when the error occurs
- If no error in the log, then a video of the bug happening or the EXACT steps needed to reproduce the issue.
- Attach your plugins/TARDIS/config.yml file or other configuration file if relevant
- Attach your plugins/TARDIS/TARDIS.db file if relevant
- List of other plugins on server
Stats
Basic statistics are collected for some versions of the TARDIS plugin (v2.5.8 and earlier). You can opt out at any time by setting opt-out: true in plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml
External web access
Version 2.8 (and higher) of this plugin includes a translation feature (the /tardissay command) that connects to the Lingva translation service.
You can prevent players from using the command by removing / not giving them the permission tardis.translate

Posted Jan 14, 2017I'm pretty sure I have everything up to date. When ever I start playing again I always start a fresh new server with all the new updated jars I use for this mod (crazy I know, but that's how I like to do it lol). I crafted a Tardis, when it appeared it was all gray, no blue texture or Tradis Door, Police sign, just all gray. Also the Daleks in my world seem to have Pumpkin Heads again.
I'm using "OptiFine_1.11.2_HD_U_B5", should I be using something else?

Posted Jan 14, 2017The default TARDIS exterior is now "FACTORY", can't remember which version that was changed, but some time ago. You can change the default in the config, and can switch to the Police Box using the Chameleon Circuit GUI.
Optifine 1.11.2 B5 should be fine for Daleks, double check you have the most recent resource pack and TARDISWeepingAngels jar.

Posted Jan 14, 2017@eccentricnz thanks!... yeah I was thinking it was the Chameleon Circuit because the Tardis looked like the factor version from Name of The Doctor lol (Genius), but when I went to change it to police it said the Circuit was missing; so that's the norm now?... you have to build the circuit as soon as you craft the Tardis?..... Not complaining, if that's the case I likew the idea :)
I'm going to check the TWA resource pack again. I have it running in Github, it said no new updates.
Optifine is still the only program to use right?... or is there a new mc patcher I don't know about or another alternative?

Posted Jan 15, 2017Optifine is the only one compatible with Minecraft 1.11.x.
Check you have latest LibsDisguises, as 'no pumpkin head' Daleks are controlled by that plugin.

Posted Jan 17, 2017Yeah it might be LibsDisguises, I've been using the version right before it went to premium.

Posted Jan 18, 2017Thank you for the link :)
OK so I replaced Libs with the Libs in the link you gave me. Daleks still have pumpkin heads.I had this issue before. I remember I was using the wrong weeping angles jar, you gave me the link to the most up to date weeping angles jar. The link you gave me back then no longer works (you can check the weeping angles page for the link you gave me), but I thought I still knew how to get there. I went to this link http://tardisjenkins.duckdns.org:8080/job/TARDISWeepingAngels/ and I download the latest weeping angels update, did I do that wrong?
I downloaded Build #86

Posted Jan 18, 2017It would seem that LibsDisguises is no longer working as expected... I'll submit a ticket on their page. Until then I've reverted the TARDISWeepingAngels resource pack to use an invisible pumpkin head. It's a pain because it also causes the pumpkin item to be invisible (placed blocks are ok).

Posted Jan 18, 2017OK so this is an issue you were able to recreate on your end?... I wouldn't want you to mess with anything when it could just be some weird thing on my end since I've had the prob in the past.
Thanks for your help in advance
Update: since you made the change; the Daleks are fixed!.... Hope everything can get sorted so you can go back to the new way, but if not, I don't mind Daleks having Pumpkin heads for a bit lol.

Posted Jan 14, 2017I just upgraded from 1592 to 1597. Everything was looking good until my users started reporting the TARDIS wasn't working. It was Red in the /plugins list. Looking in the latest log I saw this:
[10:01:15] [Server thread/INFO]: [TARDIS] Enabling TARDIS v3.7.1-b1597
[10:01:15] [Server thread/INFO]: ^[[0;33;22m[TARDIS]^[[m ^[[0;31;1mThis plugin requires CraftBukkit/Spigot me.eccentric_nz.TARDIS.utility.Version@3 or higher, disabling...^[[m
[10:01:15] [Server thread/INFO]: [TARDIS] Disabling TARDIS v3.7.1-b1597
I had just built the latest and greatest Spigot:
[10:00:01] [Server thread/INFO]: This server is running CraftBukkit version git-Spigot-6f7aabf-c8ff651 (MC: 1.11) (Implementing API version 1.11-R0.1-SNAPSHOT)
( I did try searching and there's something related on this site, but I went back 10 pages and couldn't find it )
Dynmap-TARDIS is blowing up for the same reason though.
Thoughts?

Posted Jan 14, 2017That was it. My Buildscript had 1.11, didn't know there was a 1.11.2 out.
Is there anyway to "backup" a tardis? It seems every time I get one built out nicely something goes wrong with the server or there's a major upgrade requiring a wipe. Rebuilding repetatively is annoying.
I saw there was a "/tardisschematic" or such but haven't figured it out yet.

Posted Jan 17, 2017How can I back up the whole TARDIS? No, it's not super hard but it takes a while to get the layout I want. It's bloody annoying when I do build it out and have to wipe the worlds due to some plugin bug or a spigot major update.

Posted Jan 11, 2017I am in my TARDIS, but when trying to update the scanner I get the error "You must be in a TARDIS world to update this block." I have left and reenterd, and used the /tardis occupy command. Is it because it was someone's abandoned TARDIS before?
