Downloads
I'm too lazy to upload TARDIS files to Bukkit anymore, as builds are automatically created when the plugin is updated and changes pushed to GitHub.
Version specific downloads can be found here: https://tardis.pages.dev/download
Please make sure you are using the latest Spigot/Paper builds (for the Minecraft version you are running) before installing TARDIS or creating an issue!
What it does
TARDIS is a plugin that gives you the ability to create a Police Box that lets you time travel (teleport) to random locations. It adds a Whovian twist to the typical /sethome and /home commands.
As a player, you can:
- Create a TARDIS that is bigger on the inside.
- Time travel to a random location.
- Time travel back home (where you created the TARDIS initially).
- Save and list interesting time travel locations, so you can return to them easily.
- Take companions with you when you time travel.
- Make your TARDIS blend in with the Chameleon Circuit.
- Use your own schematic to build the TARDIS interior
- Grow new TARDIS rooms
- Use Artron Energy
- Remote control the TARDIS
- Custom TARDIS sounds with companion Resource Pack
- Custom TARDIS textures with companion Resource Pack

What's new?
Installation
As a minimum, just drop the TARDIS.jar, TARDISChunkGenerator.jar (look under Additional Files on the download page) and any optional plugins listed below into the Bukkit plugins folder and start your server. For more detailed instructions see: https://tardis.pages.dev/installation-v5
Optional installs
These are not needed for TARDIS to function, but enhance the plugin with extra features...
- Install the TARDIS-SoundResourcePack in the Minecraft client to hear custom TARDIS sounds
- Install the TARDIS-Resource-Pack to see aal the fancy textures and models (requires TARDIS v4.2 or higher).
- Install the TARDISChunkGenerator plugin so that you can generate TARDISes in their own self-contained world (included on the TARDIS plugin download page under Additional files).
- Install WorldGuard to automatically protect your TARDIS from griefing, and stop mobs spawning in TARDIS worlds.
- Install TARDISWeepingAngels to add some Whovian mobs to the game.
- Install a Permissions plugin, so that you can restrict or grant players the rights to use TARDIS’ different features. We like PermissionsBukkit.

Bugs / Requests
Please post a ticket for TARDIS plugin requests and bugs, thank you :)
WARNING: I am no longer prepared to waste my time looking at incomplete tickets. If your ticket does not follow the guidelines set out below, it will be deleted immediately!
Make sure you have read the FAQs first, as your question may already be answered there. Also make sure you have searched for a previous ticket with the same/similar issue (use the Filters to search closed tickets).
If you are going to create a BUG ticket you need to supply relevant information (as I'm not a mind reader, nor do I have access to your server...) - as a minimum you need:
- Exact CraftBukkit version i.e. NOT 'the latest' - use the
/tardis versioncommand if possible, otherwise copy from server log - Exact TARDIS version i.e. NOT 'the latest' - use the
/tardis versioncommand if possible, otherwise copy from server log - The server log showing the entire error (as a paste or at Pastebin - NOT a screenshot) - this should be the log from when the server starts up right through to when the error occurs
- If no error in the log, then a video of the bug happening or the EXACT steps needed to reproduce the issue.
- Attach your plugins/TARDIS/config.yml file or other configuration file if relevant
- Attach your plugins/TARDIS/TARDIS.db file if relevant
- List of other plugins on server
Stats
Basic statistics are collected for some versions of the TARDIS plugin (v2.5.8 and earlier). You can opt out at any time by setting opt-out: true in plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml
External web access
Version 2.8 (and higher) of this plugin includes a translation feature (the /tardissay command) that connects to the Lingva translation service.
You can prevent players from using the command by removing / not giving them the permission tardis.translate

They should also be able to enter your TARDIS. If a motorcycle can fit, then a horse can.

In a redstone TARDIS? Only the four blocks at the top of the pillars should be protected, any ones placed by players can be destroyed as usual.

Not being able to break blocks could be one of two things:
There is no way to turn on/off protection in general, except to use WorldGuard

Posted Jun 25, 2013Building my first Tardis, I couldn´t destroy blocks. There was written: You can not destroy blocks in the Tardis (or something like that). (I have worldguard on my server but hadn´t protect anything)
Now, I have a new Tardis, because I had to delete my old one and now can I destroy blocks. Why?
Can I quickly switch back and forth, wether I can or cant build blocks? Maybe with a comemnt? if not: How can I set, that I cant destroy my Tardis, because I´m not very careful?
ps: thx, you are very helpful

If you haven't already, you will need to install a permissions plugin. Once that is in place, you'll need to assign the players who will NOT have access to the Nether and End to a group. In that group you will need to set the
tardis.netherandtardis.endpermissions to false. How you do that depends on which permissions plugin you are using. For example, PermissionsBukkit would be:tardis.nether: falseand PermissionsEx would be:
- -tardis.netherIn the TARDIS config, leave
the_end: trueandnether: true-

Posted Jun 24, 2013If I understood you correctly, I shoud give only OPs rights with permissions, but I only know the way in the config, where it is allowed for everybody or for nobody, or I´m doing it with /tardisadmin, where I can adjust it also as just. What do you mean with them. My config looks so:
the_end: true nether: true
And if i would set it on false, nobody could travel into the nether or the end.

I need to add a hook to delete the world from the Multiword config... will do that today sometime
Donations are not necessary, I'm part of the Bukkit reward points program, so downloading TARDIS adds to my points automatically, feel free to download it multiple times :)

Re: Multiworld vs. Multiverse... I inherited most of this server build from the previous owner who had to quit due to health issues, leaving me to learn the silly eccentricities of YAML in a hurry. Most of my time has been spent hunting-down and fixing longstanding/neglected issues, and implementing features and plugins that make it more fun for players. TARDIS is by far the coolest thing we've put in yet, and is getting a LOT of buzz. I've got it reserved for donators and the DEV team, but I'm getting three new folks a day loggin in and begging for their own Tardis :) (which reminds me... where do I find a link to donate to your project?) We're on Multiworld for now, not the very latest build, but it's stable and works well. I'll switch over to Multiverse once I figure out how to sync all the settings and permissions so I don't break the server. Running Tardis 2.4 and CB 1.5.2... only noticed one glitch since I went full-function on Tardis... when a player deletes a Tardis, their world notes in the Multiworld config.yml persist, and I have to manually delete their Tardis_world data from that file and restart the server before they can create another Tardis.
Not a big deal, just wondering if you've had any other reports of this happening.

Posted Jun 24, 2013First: Good Job.
Maybe you can help me.
I want that only OPs can travel to ,the end, and the nether.
I can set that everybody can travel there or nobody.
How can I change that default Users are only allowed to travel to world?

@Tony556
That's the easy bit I think, actually processing the result and growing all the rooms is going to be a challenge!
Especially taking into account
rooms_require_blocks, and doing it so that it grows the rooms sequentially and not all at once, automatically jettisoning rooms...-
