Downloads
I'm too lazy to upload TARDIS files to Bukkit anymore, as builds are automatically created when the plugin is updated and changes pushed to GitHub.
Version specific downloads can be found here: https://tardis.pages.dev/download
Please make sure you are using the latest Spigot/Paper builds (for the Minecraft version you are running) before installing TARDIS or creating an issue!
What it does
TARDIS is a plugin that gives you the ability to create a Police Box that lets you time travel (teleport) to random locations. It adds a Whovian twist to the typical /sethome and /home commands.
As a player, you can:
- Create a TARDIS that is bigger on the inside.
- Time travel to a random location.
- Time travel back home (where you created the TARDIS initially).
- Save and list interesting time travel locations, so you can return to them easily.
- Take companions with you when you time travel.
- Make your TARDIS blend in with the Chameleon Circuit.
- Use your own schematic to build the TARDIS interior
- Grow new TARDIS rooms
- Use Artron Energy
- Remote control the TARDIS
- Custom TARDIS sounds with companion Resource Pack
- Custom TARDIS textures with companion Resource Pack

Installation
As a minimum, just drop the TARDIS.jar, TARDISChunkGenerator.jar (look under Additional Files on the download page) and any optional plugins listed below into the Bukkit plugins folder and start your server. For more detailed instructions see: https://tardis.pages.dev/installation-v5
Optional installs
These are not needed for TARDIS to function, but enhance the plugin with extra features...
- Install the TARDIS-SoundResourcePack in the Minecraft client to hear custom TARDIS sounds
- Install the TARDIS-Resource-Pack to see aal the fancy textures and models (requires TARDIS v4.2 or higher).
- Install the TARDISChunkGenerator plugin so that you can generate TARDISes in their own self-contained world (included on the TARDIS plugin download page under Additional files).
- Install WorldGuard to automatically protect your TARDIS from griefing, and stop mobs spawning in TARDIS worlds.
- Install TARDISWeepingAngels to add some Whovian mobs to the game.
- Install a Permissions plugin, so that you can restrict or grant players the rights to use TARDIS’ different features. We like PermissionsBukkit.

Bugs / Requests
Please post a ticket for TARDIS plugin requests and bugs, thank you :)
WARNING: I am no longer prepared to waste my time looking at incomplete tickets. If your ticket does not follow the guidelines set out below, it will be deleted immediately!
Make sure you have read the FAQs first, as your question may already be answered there. Also make sure you have searched for a previous ticket with the same/similar issue (use the Filters to search closed tickets).
If you are going to create a BUG ticket you need to supply relevant information (as I'm not a mind reader, nor do I have access to your server...) - as a minimum you need:
- Exact CraftBukkit version i.e. NOT 'the latest' - use the
/tardis versioncommand if possible, otherwise copy from server log - Exact TARDIS version i.e. NOT 'the latest' - use the
/tardis versioncommand if possible, otherwise copy from server log - The server log showing the entire error (as a paste or at Pastebin - NOT a screenshot) - this should be the log from when the server starts up right through to when the error occurs
- If no error in the log, then a video of the bug happening or the EXACT steps needed to reproduce the issue.
- Attach your plugins/TARDIS/config.yml file or other configuration file if relevant
- Attach your plugins/TARDIS/TARDIS.db file if relevant
- List of other plugins on server
Stats
Basic statistics are collected for some versions of the TARDIS plugin (v2.5.8 and earlier). You can opt out at any time by setting opt-out: true in plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml
External web access
Version 2.8 (and higher) of this plugin includes a translation feature (the /tardissay command) that connects to the Lingva translation service.
You can prevent players from using the command by removing / not giving them the permission tardis.translate

The plugin will work in offline mode if it is a fresh install, you just can't update an existing TARDIS database to use UUIDs in offline mode.
In offline mode, if a player changes their name, they will lose access to their TARDIS.

Posted May 8, 2014Plug is works great 100% i love it :) Thank you so much
Is there any why to change it to work offline? If not is there any way to fix it so it will work offline if it dose see it is offline like it did before / work online if it is online with UUID
Like a choice UUID on UUID off
This why it could work both ways :) For now i will use TARDIS 2.8-beta-1 it works 100% for my setup for the time being
Are dose anyone know if there is a plug to fix UUID to work with plugin in offline mode? are some kind of hybrid online to let me use SQL and get UUID , so it works offline to
Anyways i love this plugin in so much , it is so great :)

Just a heads up in case you didn't see, eccentricnz added the requested compatibility with Grief Prevention. It's currently in need of testing by someone who uses that plugin, so if you feel like giving a hand :)

ohh do watch the 8th movie! McGann is my favorite doctor, which not many people can say! That's why I always get upset when people's "8th Doctor Tardis Interior" is just a wooden dome with bookshelves lining it.... the 8th Doctor had one of the best (if not the best) Tardis in the series, and it deserves a proper replica! But I digress. The problem with the movie is that it's nearly impossible to find in one piece on the internet. Most are split into at least 10 pieces. If you can get the DVD, thats the best way to do it.

Yep just drop the json in and you'll be good to go, as long as the versions match.
Earth with the Enterprise will be a stunning sight! Which Enterprise are you planning on doing?

So you just pop your json into my downloaded resource pack and whala?
Coolio. OBTW I am working on a scene outside my TARDIS so I can be like you. Of course I cannot do rings of Ahkatan since you have already successfully done that. Mine will be Earth with a possible U.S.S. Enterprise orbiting lol
Also that isnt Coral, its cobble fence :-D, It looks kinda like coral because of the Texture pack. Ozocraft. It gets my Xo seal of approval!

Not counting the Eighth Doctor's movie, the last classic series aired in '89. It was all Pitfall and Mario Brothers for me back then :) Don't bother me with your silly time travel nonsense, I gotta rescue the princess!
I started watching Who with Nine and could never bring myself to watch the classic episodes. Too much quirkiness for my tastes. I do keep meaning to watch the Eighth's movie though. I hear it's very overwhelmingly 90's, which I'd be cool with.

That's a fancy looking TARDIS you've got there. Love the coral! I've got a ton of custom-built rooms designed to match the latest Eleventh interior from the series and I want to put together some screenshots to show everybody. Maybe I'll make some time this weekend to do that.
I can save you a bit of time with the interior SFX because I had exactly the same thought about some of the ambient noises. The high-pitched noises were really awful to listen to on repeat. If you go into the resource pack/assets/minecraft, you'll see a sounds.json file. Open that up and look for the tardis_hum section where it lists out tardis_hum_1, 2, 3, etc. I've removed all but four of them, keeping only these: 1, 2, 4 and 9. Those are the ones that I think sound most like the interior noises we hear in the modern series and don't make my ears want to pop off my head and drown themselves in a thick pudding :)
Edit:
Attached my edited sounds.json. It's for the sounds only resource pack v0.2

Posted May 7, 2014OK, I noticed that no one has posted any questions in a day, and I have a feeling that eccentricnz likes to answer silly questions so here goes.
1. If I only want to hear to only hear certain interior SFX. I ask cause I enjoy the subtle hum of the TARDIS, but then all of a sudden it seems like there some kind of alarm sounding.
2. I did a quick look (probably missed it) what is a eps (/tardis update eps)
