Survival Games
Survival Games is a plugin that has the aim of creating a fully automated hunger games style experience. The plugin was created to be simple to use, and to be easily setup on any type of server, no matter the size or type! Survival Games provides a way for your server to have a full fledged, fully automated hunger games experience for any player. Requirements
Before installing this plugin, a few things are required.
- WorldEdit- Needed to create arenas.
- MySQL Database (optional) - If you wish to use stats, you must have an SQL database.
Conflicts
- Any plugin that modifies damage amounts by applying more damage can sometimes cause issues and make the player actually die (ie McMMO).
- Some locking plugins such as LWC have been reported to have issues with the lobby signs, but should work normally if protection is turned of for those signs.
- WORLD PORTAL will make this plugin completely break if the lobby is not in a world that is loaded at start!

- /sg setlobbywall was changed to /sg addwall <arena> in versions 0.5.0 and above!
New Permissions:
If you have for example 6 arenas, and you want every player to be able to join all arenas, give each rank the following permissions:
- sg.arena.join.<arena#> (Replace <arena#> with the arena number.)
- sg.arena.join
- sg.player.vote
- sg.lobby.join
Note: Devs and important people of this plugin have colored names on lobby signs

What's the problem? Do u do it one time and than no more. Use WorldGuard and u can add it as Region to select it later again.

Posted Oct 8, 2013Can you make a change or something because I think it's a pain in the ass to make a cube selection around a circular arena just to fill the chests with random items and also enforce the rules. That would be awesome.

Don't use * for all areas.
add the permission for every arena.
Like this :
sg.arena.join.1 <
To allow "/sg join 1" <Allow the player to join Arena 1sg.arena.join.2 <
To allow "/sg join 2" <Allow the player to join Arena 2sg.arena.join.3 <
To allow "/sg join 3" <Allow the player to join Arena 3sg.arena.join.4 <
To allow "/sg join 4" <Allow the player to join Arena 4sg.arena.join.5 <
To allow "/sg join 5" <Allow the player to join Arena 5....
and add :
sg.arena.join <
without .* , its to join the lobby "/sg join"-

Posted Oct 8, 2013Hey I can't get the permissions to work I do sg.arena.join.* in the group I want it to be in but you still have to be opped to join??? I have triple checked that I put myself in the group and tried it with other players to but it still won't work any help?

Mpokefan108, relating to your chest problem. To test, try removing all potions (ids 373) from your chests.yml to see if that works. I think there are issues using the colon (:) in the chests.yml file.

If u have a huge Server , u will not update yet to 1.6.4. It's only Dev Build not Beta not Recommended. It's your own problem i think than.

Posted Oct 7, 2013I just updated. i am using 1.6.4. I have been using this plugin for a while but am having problems with the latest update. These are the problems I am having. PLEASE HELP!! I have a huge server and people can't play correctly.
1. The lobby walls keep messing up. 2. When people die they don't go back to lobby spawn. they go to some random desert area. 3. Guests can not break leaves. even with the default Build whitelist and Place whitelist.
So far everything else seems to work.

Posted Oct 7, 20131: Does this plugin use the vanilla minecraft scoreboard feature? I would like to use it to hook into.
2: if not, might I be able to create a scoreboard from the plugin?
I would like to use the scoreboard to give effects as the the games goes on. (Eg:give increasing speed the longer the game lasts)
3: if not 1 or 2, might this feature (or a scoreboard) be added in the future?

Posted Oct 6, 2013Hey, so I recently installed the SurvivalGames plugin by Double0Negative, and I wanted to create a unique SurvialGames type thing with OP items in the chests. I customized the chest.yml however whenever a game is played, the chest do not fill up! I have also noticed that players can run around the map before the game starts. This may be because everyone playing was OP (I know everyone that was playing IRL, don't worry), but I believe even OPs couldn't move before the game started before I edited the chest.yml file. I really want this to work, anyone know why it isn't?

Posted Oct 6, 2013Hi , i own a server and im trying to make a hunger games for me and my friends but the problem is that when i try to make the lobby wall it won't show anything the signs will stay the same. I already have the arena 1 set up with the spawns and chest and the lobbyspawn too but the only im missing is the lobbywall which when i type /sg addwall 1 it says Added Lobby Wall. My server is in 1.6.2 with essentials/essentials spawn/survival games/worldedit/worldguard/healthbar/kits.
