Survival Games
Survival Games is a plugin that has the aim of creating a fully automated hunger games style experience. The plugin was created to be simple to use, and to be easily setup on any type of server, no matter the size or type! Survival Games provides a way for your server to have a full fledged, fully automated hunger games experience for any player. Requirements
Before installing this plugin, a few things are required.
- WorldEdit- Needed to create arenas.
- MySQL Database (optional) - If you wish to use stats, you must have an SQL database.
Conflicts
- Any plugin that modifies damage amounts by applying more damage can sometimes cause issues and make the player actually die (ie McMMO).
- Some locking plugins such as LWC have been reported to have issues with the lobby signs, but should work normally if protection is turned of for those signs.
- WORLD PORTAL will make this plugin completely break if the lobby is not in a world that is loaded at start!

New Permissions:
If you have for example 6 arenas, and you want every player to be able to join all arenas, give each rank the following permissions:
- sg.arena.join.<arena#> (Replace <arena#> with the arena number.)
- sg.arena.join
- sg.player.vote
- sg.lobby.join
Note: Devs and important people of this plugin have colored names on lobby signs

It's because the plugin doesn't let them actually die, it teleports them before they reach 0 hearts. (I'm using a very jerry-rigged fix where on each stand, I have mini worldguard regions healing and feeding them) (hard part was preventing people from jumping back in)

I wont add a cool down, ill add an ability to disable the command and let essentials handle the work.

Posted Jun 8, 2012I have a problem that I can't seem to fix... Its obviously a problem with MySQL database but I thought someone here could help me. It says "Could not connect to database. Plugin disabled." I entered all the info that was required and followed every step of the video. Help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Posted Jun 8, 2012Hi, I'm hosting my own server with this and a few other plugins (notably PEX although I have avoided reloads). I've followed your instructions and managed to create and arena with all the spawns and and lobby with a wall which is fully functional. I've also created an MySQL database from the XAMPP that was recommended and this works well and the console confirms that it can connect to it. The problems arise when my friend and I have been teleported to the spawn points, we both vote to start the game and it recognises that we do yet the game doesn't start and we are unable to leave our starting positions. I have read the FAQ's, all the instructions, checked your forums, done some google + youtube searches and had a brief look through the comments on this but I can't seem to even find someone else with the same problem. Any help to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advace, Yap173

i tried to find reports on this but couldnt find any, if there is a report then soz :)

Been using SurvivalGames for a few days n0ow and we get the Reset stuck at 100% error sometimes which as you have said is a known bug. But i'm not so sure about this one. Please take a look at this error... idk what is causing it but im pretty sure its your plugin that is causing it :P

Posted Jun 8, 2012Hi. I having some issues with players and /sg join. Since the sever I am a part of is not just fully SG we have problems with players typing /sg join to quickly warp out of PvP or from death without a cool down. I have tried to remove the permission node "sg.arena.join" but thats also removing the access to hit the signs and play. Is there another permission node for this? Or is there any way to add a cool down when typing /sg join? Thanks!

Posted Jun 8, 2012Can anyone help me please. The plugin and sever was working fine, everything was great but when I closed down the server and put it back up, when I click on signs nothing happens. It says on the website that /sg enable <ID> should work but my problem is not that it is getting stuck on 0 or 100%. Can someone please help me, it would be much apreciated.

1. You're using a remote database which causes lag (use localhost) 2. You have a laggy/low ram server 3. You're making the arena the same world most players are in, therefore, lagging everyone

Its impossible to detect someone using xray automatically. Nocheat has been bannning people randomly. You mightve been one of them. Also thanks for the beer bucks :).
