Survival Games is a plugin that has the aim of creating a fully automated hunger games style experience. The plugin was created to be simple to use, and to be easily setup on any type of server, no matter the size or type! Survival Games provides a way for your server to have a full fledged, fully automated hunger games experience for any player. Requirements

Before installing this plugin, a few things are required.

WorldEdit- Needed to create arenas.
MySQL Database (optional) - If you wish to use stats, you must have an SQL database.

Conflicts

Any plugin that modifies damage amounts by applying more damage can sometimes cause issues and make the player actually die (ie McMMO).
Some locking plugins such as LWC have been reported to have issues with the lobby signs, but should work normally if protection is turned of for those signs.
WORLD PORTAL will make this plugin completely break if the lobby is not in a world that is loaded at start!

/sg setlobbywall was changed to /sg addwall <arena> in versions 0.5.0 and above!

New Permissions:

If you have for example 6 arenas, and you want every player to be able to join all arenas, give each rank the following permissions:

sg.arena.join.<arena#> (Replace <arena#> with the arena number.)
sg.arena.join
sg.player.vote
sg.lobby.join

Note: Devs and important people of this plugin have colored names on lobby signs

Webstats - How To:

1. To get webstats working correctly you'll first need to have a website being hosted somewhere. Host it yourself with something like Xampplite or just pick a webhost service online, that is up to you.

2. Once that's good to go, follow instructions to install the Survival Games B 0.4.0 update and then copy its "webstats" folder into your website host (put it in the folder that contains all your website PHP/HTML pages). When you re-run your Minecraft server the update will add some tables to your database that it will use for storing webstats.

3. Make sure the "db_con.php" file inside the "webstats" folder has the correct connection details for your MySQL database (the same one that survival games was configured to use).

4. Visit your website address in a browser to see if the webstats work. For example, visit "www.minecraft-sg.com/webstats" but replace "www.minecraft-sg.com" with the address of your website.

5. Also there is a typo in one of the webstats PHP files that needs fixing. In "webstats\pages\gamehistory.php", make sure any areas saying "gamehostory" are changed to "gamehistory".

Thank you very much for your work so far on this plugin, especially the multiverse support. I am very grateful. This plugin has been the easiest and most useful Hunger Games one I could find.

I've got the webstats working perfectly with the new update. Time to make a fancy HTML5/CSS3 theme!!1

So I have been trying to set it up and I keep getting this error:

09:23 PM [WARNING] [SurvivalGames] Could not save config.yml to plugins\SurvivalGames\config.yml because config.yml already exists. 09:23 PM [WARNING] [SurvivalGames] Couldn't connect to MySQL database. Stopping... Access denied for user 'Gear5424'@'70.59.239.97' (using password: YES) 09:23 PM [SEVERE] [SurvivalGames] !!!Failed to connect to the database. Please check the settings and try again!!!

Help please!!! ( Also the server is port forwarded and has everything done, including MySQL except for the error which is confusing me so much.)

this plugin already has multiworld support just make sure that once youve started your server that you load up that world or it will not work i recommend worldportal its a great plugin for that once you get it just do /wp tp {worldname}

i just edited the plugin a little not exactly the same but alittle different

added

Better spectating
Sponsoring - by typing in /hg sponsor [username][Item Id]
FinalDeathmatch - after 30 min everyone gets teleported to the cornicopia to battle it out.
Prizes are awarded to the winner
able to use a wand to select spawn points in the arena
Able to change arena name to what ever you want.
fixed 0% or 100% error thats it for now but im still working on a couple more ideas
added so announcements are seen by everyone not just people in the arena

hopefully the author would allow me to join there dev team so we can work together.

tell me what you guys think :D

Thank you very much for this plugin. Everything works good, mysql and the php back end. I would like to let you know few requests I have in mind, please.

- I run a pvp server with multiverse for the games, so instant teleport is not allowed. Are there any way to deny /hg join to prevent people teleport to the lobby spawn point?

- Please, along with inventory restoration when a game finish, could you add some reward item for winners?

This is so far the best survival games plugin I ever seen.
