Survival Games
Survival Games is a plugin that has the aim of creating a fully automated hunger games style experience. The plugin was created to be simple to use, and to be easily setup on any type of server, no matter the size or type! Survival Games provides a way for your server to have a full fledged, fully automated hunger games experience for any player. Requirements
Before installing this plugin, a few things are required.
- WorldEdit- Needed to create arenas.
- MySQL Database (optional) - If you wish to use stats, you must have an SQL database.
Conflicts
- Any plugin that modifies damage amounts by applying more damage can sometimes cause issues and make the player actually die (ie McMMO).
- Some locking plugins such as LWC have been reported to have issues with the lobby signs, but should work normally if protection is turned of for those signs.
- WORLD PORTAL will make this plugin completely break if the lobby is not in a world that is loaded at start!

- /sg setlobbywall was changed to /sg addwall <arena> in versions 0.5.0 and above!
New Permissions:
If you have for example 6 arenas, and you want every player to be able to join all arenas, give each rank the following permissions:
- sg.arena.join.<arena#> (Replace <arena#> with the arena number.)
- sg.arena.join
- sg.player.vote
- sg.lobby.join
Note: Devs and important people of this plugin have colored names on lobby signs

In the config file you have to turn off both the sql database and any stats of any kind

Posted Jul 12, 2012hello when i try to start my server with mysql it gets errors but i dont need stats so when i try to skip it this happens could not save config.yml to plugins survival games\config.yml because config.yml already excists please help !!!

Posted Jul 12, 2012I would really like the ability to have chests always be restocked with what was originally in them. So if I were using one of Vareid's maps, the chests would always have the same items in them. Also, I would like an option to be able to destroy all blocks in the arena so that we can have a completely free-for-all game instead of only being able to break certain blocks.

Posted Jul 11, 2012Hi, everytime i use a command from this plugin, it say could not connect to the database plugin disabled. i read the FAQ but is says to read something. i dont know where that is. but it would be just helpful if you just tell me.

Posted Jul 11, 2012@kinoscorpia Make sure he is in the same group as the one your setting true, make sure your saving correctly and restarting the server.

@itsmei123 Maybe its another plugin that disables pvp? and there is a grace period of which players are invincible and cant pvp.

I have installed everything and I have setup the board and the map but when everyone spawns and the game begins for a while we can kill each other then after a time period we cannot kill each other. It just stops working and no one can kill. I use factions and I have disabled it for that world. Any suggestions?

Anyone who is going to join a game needs the node: - sg.arena.join For spectating people will need: - sg.arena.spectate Permissions inside the arena MUST include: - sg.arena.leave - sg.arena.vote - sg.arena.spectate
Thats all thats required to make a working arena. Not including any of these in the arena may cause some kind of bug, like if you dont add the spectate node then people can't leave spectating untill the game is over.

I just want to say thanks you for this awesome plugin. I use this for a server, we are about 100 every days to play with this mod and 16 arenas! It works very well. Do you know when the new features (VIP Stuff, environment difficulty progression, etc.) ?

Posted Jul 11, 2012Hello if someone could help me that would be great. I have the survival games plugin, and me and my friend were testing it out, and because he wasn't and Admin, he couldn't join the game. I tried it to and it said "No Permission." So I looked under the default permission.yml at home screen, and changed the permissions to sg.arena.join: true sg.arena.leave: true sg.arena.vote: true Am I doing anything wrong here? can someone plz help me?

@Brainmonkey What version are you on, and are you using MySQL or no SQL?
@rocky1921 Something similar to kits is planned to be added (VIP perks) which players with a permission will spawn with items ingame
