Survival Games is a plugin that has the aim of creating a fully automated hunger games style experience. The plugin was created to be simple to use, and to be easily setup on any type of server, no matter the size or type! Survival Games provides a way for your server to have a full fledged, fully automated hunger games experience for any player. Requirements

Before installing this plugin, a few things are required.

WorldEdit- Needed to create arenas.
MySQL Database (optional) - If you wish to use stats, you must have an SQL database.

Conflicts

Any plugin that modifies damage amounts by applying more damage can sometimes cause issues and make the player actually die (ie McMMO).
Some locking plugins such as LWC have been reported to have issues with the lobby signs, but should work normally if protection is turned of for those signs.
WORLD PORTAL will make this plugin completely break if the lobby is not in a world that is loaded at start!

/sg setlobbywall was changed to /sg addwall <arena> in versions 0.5.0 and above!

New Permissions:

If you have for example 6 arenas, and you want every player to be able to join all arenas, give each rank the following permissions:

sg.arena.join.<arena#> (Replace <arena#> with the arena number.)
sg.arena.join
sg.player.vote
sg.lobby.join

Note: Devs and important people of this plugin have colored names on lobby signs

Not sure if it is mySQL or a bug but my arenas got stuck reloading and when i fixed that, spawns were erased from my config for my first two arenas. Im sure it was mySQL but just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

I've asked, got dodged. Use this: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/obushutthehellup/ and replace the line in the config with this insted:

{ type: 'string', value: 'FROM UNLOADING', level: 'ANY' }

Anyway to turn off the message "SG - STOPPED LOBBY CHUNK FROM UNLOADING!" It is needlessly spamming my server log, really needs to stop haha.

Now I have another question. To create your arena you'll have to select the whole arena. But mine has a glass roof and is round... How should I do this?

@DjYing

If you don't mind resetting your arena then I would recommend deleting the folder as it may have had errors if the wall was attempted to be set many times, also are you using MySQL or not?

I have one arena set up with the Spawns etc. I haven't changed anythingin the config file from the SG Plugin

As Double said don't use that, it was decompiled which is against the project licences

Do you have any config or arenas setup, since if not I would recommend resetting the file by deleting the SurvivalGames folder and letting the jar reset it

Hey, I'm having troubles setting up the Lobby Wall. I have 16 spawns and my wall of signs is 7x3. I've selected the top right and bottom left sign with my wand from WorldEdit and then I typed in /sg setlobbywall. Then it says 'Lobby Status wall succesfully created' without any error messages in-game and in the console. But I can't see any animation or text on the signs... What am I doing wrong?

Anyone run this on a server that also runs mcMMO? I am running SG successfully now, but we are thinking about adding mcMMO. It looks like it might conflict. I am wondering if I just negate the mcMMO permissions in the SG world if it will run fine? An ideas or thoughts on this?

This means the plugin is preventing your lobby from unloading, it should be fine so you don't need to worry about it

As of right now that is not implemented in the plugin, in the future it seems to be that VIP Arenas will be added but not sure about perks
