Survival Games is a plugin that has the aim of creating a fully automated hunger games style experience. The plugin was created to be simple to use, and to be easily setup on any type of server, no matter the size or type! Survival Games provides a way for your server to have a full fledged, fully automated hunger games experience for any player. Requirements

Before installing this plugin, a few things are required.

WorldEdit- Needed to create arenas.
MySQL Database (optional) - If you wish to use stats, you must have an SQL database.

Conflicts

Any plugin that modifies damage amounts by applying more damage can sometimes cause issues and make the player actually die (ie McMMO).
Some locking plugins such as LWC have been reported to have issues with the lobby signs, but should work normally if protection is turned of for those signs.
WORLD PORTAL will make this plugin completely break if the lobby is not in a world that is loaded at start!

/sg setlobbywall was changed to /sg addwall <arena> in versions 0.5.0 and above!

New Permissions:

If you have for example 6 arenas, and you want every player to be able to join all arenas, give each rank the following permissions:

sg.arena.join.<arena#> (Replace <arena#> with the arena number.)
sg.arena.join
sg.player.vote
sg.lobby.join

Note: Devs and important people of this plugin have colored names on lobby signs

HI THERE, I RECENTLY INSTALLED THIS PLUGIN IN MY SERVER BUT I AM HAVING A BIT OF A PROBLEM. ALL OPS CAN PLAY OK BUT WHEN A NORMAL PLAYER WANTS TO COME AND PLAY IT IT SAYS 'NO PERMISION'. I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO FIX THAT.

Don't use MySQL, the new logging works better and the webstats don't work %100 yet.

Anyone else getting a "Can't connect to MySql Database, Disabling SurvivalGames..." Whats wrong with it? It was working like a week ago..lol

Guys do you have issue that lobby wall just stuck in some point? After 4-5 games mine stop animating and just stuck. Am i doing something wrong?

And yes, database name IS ha11oga11o.

i think kids will wait for v5.0 or fix for this in meanwhile.

I noticed that wall is not shows players in game at all,... actually no refresh of signs when someone dies. Is that common?

Personally, the MySQL doesn't work as well as sqlite (or whatever it's called) as it takes more time to rollback and such. I have not worked with the web-stats, but have heard that they don't work 100% right now so I'm waiting on 5.0 before I mess with that.

Would it be possible to add a reaping feature for factions? I think it would be interesting for a member or two to be selected from several factions and sent to fight

Happened to me as well. I ended up recreating it. Try using WE to select the wall and use the command again.

Yeah i just did that when u mentioned it. Selected small region around lobby, and disabled back command. Works nice. now struggling with sql want to show stats on our webpage, but have problems with connecting to database at host: SQL09.FREEMYSQL.NET regarding this post:

Im absolutely new at sql dont know nothing but want to give it a try. reading, learning as much i can. but all is new tome, so dont kill me guys at this post immediately :)

If someone have any advice it will be nice thou. Im running completely free server for kids in neighborhood so im not earning a dime from server, its not commercial. I take thats counting something :P

Hmm, it may be the worldguard region. I suggest just removing /back completely.

Guys,

i need advice. I set up HG and work great. have separate world to arena. but when player dies he type /back and hes there again messing with game play.

How to disable /back to certain world?

NWMND that i solve it with /rg flag HG blocked-cmds back

Now, i have some players ingame but nothing is displayed on wall, it says 0/0/24. when i do /hg list 1 theres two more ingame, whats happening?

No, you have to do that your self, but its fairly easy.

I don't use mac, so can't help you there. But, PEX is known for having problems with Survival Games, Essentials GroupManager works better.
