Survival Games is a plugin that has the aim of creating a fully automated hunger games style experience. The plugin was created to be simple to use, and to be easily setup on any type of server, no matter the size or type! Survival Games provides a way for your server to have a full fledged, fully automated hunger games experience for any player. Requirements

Before installing this plugin, a few things are required.

WorldEdit- Needed to create arenas.
MySQL Database (optional) - If you wish to use stats, you must have an SQL database.

Conflicts

Any plugin that modifies damage amounts by applying more damage can sometimes cause issues and make the player actually die (ie McMMO).
Some locking plugins such as LWC have been reported to have issues with the lobby signs, but should work normally if protection is turned of for those signs.
WORLD PORTAL will make this plugin completely break if the lobby is not in a world that is loaded at start!

/sg setlobbywall was changed to /sg addwall <arena> in versions 0.5.0 and above!

New Permissions:

If you have for example 6 arenas, and you want every player to be able to join all arenas, give each rank the following permissions:

sg.arena.join.<arena#> (Replace <arena#> with the arena number.)
sg.arena.join
sg.player.vote
sg.lobby.join

Note: Devs and important people of this plugin have colored names on lobby signs

I've got a problem. See, I had to recreate my arenas alot because of ohter plugins messing them up, and everything worked fine until I started to notice, that when I create new arenas (actually the same ones) they get higher and higher arena ID's. I've tried with both of the lastest versions on this BukkitDev page, but these just don't work. Any help?

Hello, I have made a new Bukkit Server with the Survival Games plugin but whenever non-op try to do /hg join or /sg join it says you do not have permission. I have researched this online and have not found a solution. I am using Groupmanager, here is my permissions folder (globalgroups):

Hmm, are you using MySQL or SgLite?

Yes, the arena should rollback, though redstone is tricky and doesn't allows work correctly. Haven't tested it with the newest plugin version though.

When I try to use any command, it says An error occured while executing the command, Check the console. The console has many error messages and they all say Severe... For example 20:05:45 (Severe) at net.minecraft.server.v1_4_R1.NetworkManager.b(Network Manager.java:113). This looks like an awesome plugin but I have no idea what to do. I'm a bit of a noob. :)

I dont use world guard. Its not just the signs that get the error "No Permission," but its the command /sg join 1

Here, let me restate my problem, incase this helps:

Ok I am trying to run survival games, it is all setup, but when a non-op tries to join an arena, it says "No Permission." I have these nodes in my permissions file: (I use PermissionsEX) sg.join.arena sg.arena.vote sg.lobby.join

I have a problem. After the game ends, i need to use command /sg enable to play it again. Anyone know, how to make arena enable automaticlly? And also, items in chests don't respawn. Sorry for bad english.

Is theres any way that worldguard doesnt alow your players to interact with signs on that area?

If so, you need to add flag to WG region si they can USE signs there.

I have set this up the right way, and every time a player tries to join, it says "No Permission." I have tried both the permission nodes sg.player, and sg.arena.join, neither work. Whoever can tell me how to solve this will be rewarded with a rank on the server. The IP is 74.91.16.83:30225 I know this is what you think the solution is "Whenever someone clicks on the arena sign it says "NO PERMISSIONS"???" you need a permissions plugin, then you need to add the sg.arena.join permission to the groups you want to be able to join," but I have done this and it does not work.

I have "SG - STOPPED LOBBY CHUNK FROM UNLOADING!" spam in console is it dangerous? Or i can ignore it?

Guys, me again :)

Does this plugin perform map roll back? I have some installations like traps with pistons but they set to trigger once per game... Thing is, that those blocks which pistons push does NOT roll back to old position.

Can someone please help me? If i cant set this as it should be... 30% of every map is useless.

I'm not trying to sound rude, but if you can't figure out something as simple as permissions, you should read up and wait a little before opening your own server.

Anyways, to allow normal players to use commands, you must give them the correct permission node:

i am the owner of my server and is there anyway for the players to join a game (typing in a command) without them being opped???? i just have to op everyone for them to play!?!?!?!?!?

Help!!!!!!! I made the arena by making the points then doing /sg createarena and then went were i want them to spawn and typed /sg setspawn next! But when we join We can move around even though it hasnt started and when we kill each other it doesnt announce it!!!

HELP! I made the arena and it works to join but I cant get inside the building to pull the lever to start the game... It wont let me destroy and I am the owner of the server by the way.
